Ghana played like lions today. Especially in the 1st half of the game. The US should be proud of the game. Cause they were close to going to the penalties with this awoken beast.

I am calling it right now.... Ghana vs. Brazil semi-final. And Ghana will have a chance to get Africa to the finals.

:wow

I'm scared... I'd bet money that it will end on Penalties vs. Uruguay

:lol

With half their team getting injured against the US, I don't see them getting too far

we have no choice but to quit waiting for it to happen naturally and just drop an AIDS bomb on that third world country. No quarter given cause none was received

oh BTW, Gyan's goal is the game of the tournament and I don't think it can be topped this year

I think its been one of the best, but isn't saying much this WC. The goals haven't been that good. All in all, the goal was alright

maicon goal is super class: tehnique, power, angle, swerve. Shits on every goal in world cup since maxi's insane goal vs germany in 2006

not accounting 2006 it shits on everything since uruguay defender goal vs denmark i think a huge huge volley (in 2002).

I don't see how Ghana should advance against Uruguay. Ghana's centre backs are a joke (especially Jonathan Mensah, who seems to have picked up an injury, which probably means someone even worse will replace him) so Forlan and Suarez should be having a field day.

And Uruguay is not as likely to make gifts on the defensive end as the US did.
I don't care who wins that one, so I wouldn't mind a close game, but I frankly don't see it happening.

You mean Maxi's goal vs Mexico... and no way. Maicon goal was very difficult because of the angle, and a top 10 for sure, but far from best of anything.
Heck, Italy's last goal in the competition was better than his.

Exaggerate much? :rolleyes

If they play like they did in the first half against the USA, they have a fighting chance. But they'll get buried if they lack urgency for even a moment.

:lmao That's just cold. I don't know what I'll do if I see him in the starting XI - he'd better score a hat trick.
