View Full Version : sincere question about bosh/crab to bulls

Sons, I dont understand why people say that if bosh/crab go to bulls that team isn't a lock for the championship.

I mean the starting five would jizz on anything with a 3pt specialist as sg (lots of those, easy to get) .. you get very very balanced offense, at least one double team player, insane defense at at least 3 positions with bosh at least adequate so sg should just try and not give up 30 a night.

And plus alot of guys would come for vet minimum: I bet you ray allen will sure look at that sg spot and say .. damm, stay at the 3pt line all alone and just shoot em 3pt and do nothin else while getting some rings... or shaq comin for the vet minimum only for certain 5 fouls a game(great value for vet minimum) to just sit his ass on the bench and let the rings stack.
Also possible guys are drew gooden, kurt thomas, grant hill, juwan howard, ai (lol cancer not), theo ratliff, stack...

I bet their bench would be better than alot of benches in the league, so it puzzles me when I see people questioning such a team, that would be a team with a very legit chance at 70-72+ wins not this year but the following after they mesh.

So anyone care to elaborate why such a team would not be an almost lock for a ring?

I don't see Ray Allen signing for the vet minimum. He is too good for that and already has a ring.

But yeah, Chicago could be a very special team next year.

Takes more than simply throwing around 5 all stars to build a team.
You need chemistry. Everyone needs to know their role. The players need to have faith in their coach.

You think bosh will be happy being possibly the third option on this team? what about rose?

You think they will respect lebron after seeing how he quit on his team in the boston series?

What about the coach? how will lebron handle dealing with someone who isn't just a "yes" man?

Lebron didn't quit on his team, his contract is up and he is looking to renew it. Quitting is something that Kobe would do like in 07 demanding a trade. Or giving up in game 7 of the WCSF against the Suns in 06. Thats quitting....

Bullshit. Lebron quit on his team as much as kobe did in game 7.

If you can't admit it, you're just another lebron nut-hugger.

It's just simple. Bosh is a top 20 player, LeBron is the best.

You add those 2 to a 40 win team and it becomes a 60-65 win team and therefore a contender.

Rose/Bosh/Noah would be better than the 2nd best player on the Cavs, which LeBron could guide to 60 wins.

But who cares? it's not gonna happen, LeBron's going to Dallas.

2 words... Lebron James. On one hand, you have the best player in the world Lebron James who can work his magic for the first 45 minutes or so. But come the last 3 minutes of the game, the ball's guaranteed to be in HIS hands since he is the best player on the floor; he's going to take that shot and fail miserably.

Bottom line is, there are very few good teams in the league right now. LA barely beat an old-as-dirt Boston team who lost their starting center, and last year they beat a young Orlando team that was lucky to be there, and only was there because Garnett was hurt.

If LeBron/Bosh go to Chicago, the Bulls win 4-5 straight titles. Book it.

Because it's easy to talk about winning it. Nearly impossible to actually do it. You more than anybody should realize that, Balla. You were 13 seconds, 2 fts, and an triple from it, and you were righteous in the battle twixt us.

This conglomeration of purported players have never spent a day in their life.

We'll leave the closer to Derrick Rose...

Lebron is very efficient in clutch situations, despite what the Al-Quobe media will tell you..

Ugh I cringe just thinking about a Rose/Deng/Lebron/Bosh/Noah core. Fill in the rest and they could be a dynasty

They would be contenders, for sure. A lock? There has been no such thing since the original Dream Team.

james just isn't a winner. No killer mentality. He's like tmac, if he wants to prove apoint he going to do it at the expense of the team winning, hes not going to go all out every game.

But where would the bench come from for Chicago? It'd be a contending team but I'd be surprised to see the Bulls win it all next year

will the point guard learn where his new teamates want the ball
can the bull players handle the pressure of expected the title?

Winning titles is not in Lebron's DNA. He's just not wired for it not even 1....If this guy is going to leave the Cavs his best bet is NYC, start over...going to the Bulls will be an utter disaster in trying to live in MJ's shadow's. Lebron is doomed he's a hip-hop baby and not about the hardware. Lebron will have no respect in the Bulls locker room and why should he..He hasn't proven he can lead a team...When he had his chances he failed miserably...He led the Cavs in a JV league east to the finals where he promptly GOT SWEPT. He lead the USA team (without Kobe) to a BRONZE MEDAL...He almost got SWEPT again last year by the MAGIC and pulled a fucking HOUDINI against the Celtics...all while having the best record in the league 2 years and running...so this guy has emphatically proven he's NOT a leader. Give Kobe those Cavs teams and they win it all...Difference between the 2 is that Lebron doesn't inspire his teammates to win he's just a bullshitter out there.

It will be a sad sight for most fans but a delight for me to watch this guy fold like a French Crepe with strawberries on tha side. I can just see Noah dancing with Lebronze on the sideline.

actually far from it...I've called a Laker 4 peat before I acquiesce a Laker defeat. Lebron doesn't have the fucking balls to challenge Kobe...why do you think he's choking every year...this is no coincidence...I don't give a shit who he's lining up with...nothing is stopping Kobe from fucking up MJ's world...

LeBron did quit on his team, which is inexcusable and a huge indictment on his ability to lead a team all the way.

son, ray allen wants about 8 million this season. one thing i learned from nba players is they value money first, second third, and fourth and then its winning. the one thing i see from that team is all you have to do play zone and let the bricks commence. noah and bosh and that kid from USC isnt exactly a great front line defensively.

cuz James was suppose to win it all these past 2 years and failed miserably. I dont trust "lock to win" with prince james anymore. Cant even get a freaking gold medal untill you know who had to come on board.

People were saying that Boston would not win in 2008 because they would have too thin a bench. There will be plenty of solid bench fodder around the league (Ryan Gomes, for example) who would sign up to be on that team. There is no guarantee they would win it all right away, but they would be the favorite if they could pull in Lebron and Bosh without doing a sign and trade.

They would at least be title contenders, however, I don't think they would be a "lock" to win a championship. LeBron has already been a lock the last 2 seasons to be IN the Finals, and we all saw how that played out.

I'm starting to believe that LeBron doesn't have it in him to win a championship. Although, people here believed that Kobe couldn't win without Shaq. I don't want to count him out, but it's getting harder to believe that he can get it done.

And yes, LeBron quit on his team.

Except when he was in Cleveland he's had shitty teammates.
