If I remember correctly, I believe former Spur, Greg "Cadilliac" Anderson also wore #25. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken.

Somehow I can't figure out why that number isn't hanging from the rafters. :lol

Coby Dietrick was one of many, also wearing 25.

Who's the girl at the end of the video (I think they said her name was 'Brook')? Girlfriend/fiancee/wife?

He did. At his presser after getting drafted in '07.

Wingate was the one I was thinking of. Didn't Horry wear #25 for the Spurs for one season?

Sorry Tiago shoulda committed in 08 if you wanted it.

Yes. He switched from 5 to 25 for his final season in 2007-08. I don't believe anyone has worn it since.

He can wear #15, like he does for Brazil. Bonner, GTFO or change your number.

RC Buford and those giant chicklets of his crack me up. I can get my dog to look like that when I push her upper lip up, exposing her teeth. It stays for a while too. Makes her look vicious. :lol

Is RC wearing pink glasses ?

Agreed about Anderson's responses too. What's OSU's graduation rate ? Dude is not very articulate. Hope he's a player.

Wow, he took us back to the old boring Spurs in this interview, we'll never hear the end of this if he get more interviews through the course of the season. He is very "poker" face in expressions and demeanor. I look forward to him joining the team, at worse he could be Mitch Richmond who I thought would have been great in a Spurs uniform back in the 1996 and 97 up years.

Damn give the dude a fucking break. Not everyone knows how to act like an instant fucking celebrity in front of the camera lol. He wasn't any worse then Hill and Blair when they spoke. Public speaking is rated as the number one fear for a reason lol. Try it sometime. I'm sure the guy didn't want to put any unneeded expectations on himself. Probably why he stuck to the "i'm just gonna work hard" line lol.

Don't confuse the fact that he's not great with the media and clearly shy for him being stupid. I'm not saying he's a genius, but I don't get the sense that he's a fool either.

That being said, that was extremely boring. The only semi-entertaining part was watching how long Buford would hold his goofy smile while Anderson answered each question.

Give the kid a break he’s just had a whirlwind week, currently surrounded by people he has only just met and media attention he hasn’t have to deal with before.
I’m sure with time he’ll open up and become better at these sorts of things.

James is a member of the Big 12 All Academic First Team.... he's not stupid by any means.

He's just a low key guy from a small town of less than 1,000 people.... and he played his college ball in Stillwater, OK... not the most glamorous, spotlighted place to be. I could careless how he comes off in the media as long as he brings his game, but I'm sure once he gets comfortable with the usual suspects in the media, and with being an NBA player, he'll loosen up considerably.

RC used play basketball back in college when he was younger. So yeah, he's taller than your average person. I think RC is about 6'3 or 6'4...

I think his college coach said he was a very shy, very humble guy...it definitely showed in that interview. He seems like a guy that lets his game do the talking, which is very Spurs-like.

I liked Avery Bradley (#19 to Boston) as a prospect if SA had drafted him, but he already has had his ankle scoped since the draft. Plus he struggled with his long range shooting at times.

Anderson is going to be more ready to step in and contribute.

Anybody else think it's rude that the players haven't even spoken to him in a week?

I'm sure even McClinton had said he had spoken with players after the draft. Is there anything to read into this?

- He certainly won't be making any All Interview teams in his career.

Just overwhelmed, I think. I liked that he wasn't cocky, even if his answers were standard rookie boilerplate.
