not a danger from 3 - but decent slasher + passer and good defender for around 3 mil./year sounds like a better deal than signing rj for 9 or 10 mil./year.

with parker, ginobili/hill, duncan and hopefully splitter on the court, brewer won't need a lot of touches. if opposing teams force offense to go through him, he can either drive or pass out of it - pretty much what rj did last season.

thoughts?

I would love for him to play here! Plus I kinda look like him. Lol

I Like Brewer.... But With Him on the Floor, the spurs spacing would be awful..... Id Say Pass

You get the same from Jefferson. At least this kid may be cheaper.

Can't afford him. After signing Splitter the Spurs won't be able to offer a $3 mil / yr contract.

Yeah, I have a thought: How do we sign him for 3 mil per?

Just wondering (assuming Splitter comes over).......

Exactly. It's not so as Dicky J is a big threat out there. Let Englland and crew go to work on this kid over the summer. He'll improve.

I remember Bruce sucked at threes before coming to us, maybe the same can happen if spurs sign Brewer.
