For those that live in LA..how much of a reception did the 2006 Clippers receive in LA during their playoff run?..was there a lot of bandwagon shit, or was it mostly still the die-hard Clipps fans?..

when the lakers sucked dicks the Clippers were fine steads for LA wagoners to wank to. they're just arrogant LA citizens living there showing their pride for everything LA, so basically it's not about basketball at all and I think most of them are inept rustics not knowing shit about the game they chat about.

I miss the good ole days when the Suns would wipe their ass with all teams from LA.

Sons of course laker fans got behind the clips. Had nothing to do with fandom, it was basically supporting the massive underdog.

some people got behind them. remember that year the lakers were in the playoffs so its not like they had the town to themselves. it all went downhill the way they too choked against the suns. 8 second violation from ET comes to mind

it wasn't much of a influx of bandwagon or excitement, i mean come on, they weren't winning the title.

The Clippers have a pretty good fan base and the arena is a much louder than Laker games. The real L.A. fan usually attend Clipper games because Laker games are so high priced and we all know the reasons for it being to quiet. Buncha trendies, suits and ties and cell phone snappers who wanna see Jack and other celebs bring the decibel level down a few notches. Tennis and gold was made for Laker crowds, until the playoffs roll around; even then it's still too quiet.

Clippers had a great run in 2006 and it would been cool to have an L.A. second round match up up but the Lakers choked away a 3-1 and 3-2 lead.
