I've only been to Logans and it wasn't anything special. Their rolls are damn good though.

Logans has two entrees for $13.99 on Mondays and Tuesdays. That and the rolls equal Logans win.

Logans has given me shitty service with a shitty meal in two different cities.

Texas Roadhouse has never given me anything shitty.

So Logans is far and away the loser and I have zero intention of trying out any of them in San Antonio.

I've found them to be equally mediocre.

Texas Roadhouse easily. I'd go there just for the rolls

I thought Logans had the better rolls?

I could handle two entrees for $13.99 on Mondays and Tuesdays too.

I know you're cheap, Joe, but to me, time is money as much as dollar bills are. When they run those kinds of specials, the old folks flock there, and it's at least an hour or hour and a half wait. I always judge my willingness to wait by my hourly work wage, and it's WAY higher than the difference between that price and their regular price.

Well, even my low wage earning ass doesn't like to wait for service and I am getting close, some may say I already am, to being an old folk and I've never really thought about waiting in an hourly work wage kind of way. Interesting. I've been to Logan's 1 time and it was for a GTG years ago.

TR used to have early birds, and on like a Mon or a Tue, you would go there and the Live Oak Cinema parking lot was full, but they were all a TR. It got to the point where I stopped going there altogether, because the line from the early bird special never really disappeared, and you'd still be waiting 45 mins to an hour at 8:00 or 8:30 as sort of a bleed over.

Early bird special reminds me of that Seinfeld episode. :lol I love lunch specials and dinner specials and use buy 1 get one free coupons all the time.

I hit up Logan's on the reg and have never waited for the $13.99 special. Never.

We do too... not only is it Mon/Tue, but it is also every week day before 6:30pm... Never had to wait once... Only time we've had to wait is Fri/Sat from like 5-8pm but that's expected. Love the food, always get good service (but this is in Round Rock - never been to one in SA)

I've NEVER been to the Texas Roadhouse in Live Oak without waiting... 1pm, 3pm, 6pm... doesn't matter. Always a wait.

I think they used to be one in the same somehow. I've been to both and they're pretty similar.

I like Texas Roadhouse better if I have to choose between two average joints.

The chicks doing the Coyote Ugly bit is slightly entertaining and the rolls are good.

They are pretty much mirror images of each other...so id say each get about a 6.5:10

Shit, the roadkill at Texas Roadhouse with green beans and a baked potato for 7.99 owns anything at Logans. Why get 2 shit entrees fir 14 bucks when for 2 dollars more you can have 2 damn good ones?

Also, anybody complaining about price and being cheap better be ordering water with these meals. Paying 2.75 for a soda or tea is beyond stupid when you don't want to pay 8 bucks for a chopped steak smothered and 2 sides.

Yeah, that is one thing that sucks about a buy 1 get one free is that more often than not you have to buy two beverages which cost almost as much as meal. I always order water.
