Everything is set for Chris Bosh (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=1977) to join LeBron James (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=1966) in Cleveland. Everything, that is, except Bosh's approval.
The Toronto Raptors (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/clubhouse?team=tor) have told the Cleveland Cavaliers (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/clubhouse?team=cle) they will do a sign-and-trade with them for Bosh, according to several league sources.
The exact details of the potential trade have not been solidified, but Toronto likely would get Anderson Varejao (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=2419) and/or J.J. Hickson (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=3437), Delonte West (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=2422) and perhaps Anthony Parker (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=635). A draft pick could be involved as well.

ESPN NBA insider Chris Broussard says he thinks LeBron James is leaning towards staying in Cleveland. Chris Bosh wants to play with James but would rather do it in a bigger city than Cleveland.

Both James and Bosh are aware that such a trade is possible, and James has tried to recruit Bosh to the Cavaliers several times in the past few weeks, according to sources.
But right now, Bosh remains cold to the idea of playing in Cleveland.
The Cavaliers are hopeful that will change, because in Cleveland, Bosh can meet two of his top priorities: playing with James, and getting a six-year, $125 million contract.
If Bosh joins a team without doing a sign-and-trade, he will be able to sign only a five-year deal worth $96 million. He is determined not to leave that $29 million on the table, according to sources.
Although Bosh wants to play with James, he wants to do it in Chicago, Miami or New Jersey. Sources say he has told the Raptors those are the teams he would like to go to in a sign-and-trade.
Bosh also could play with Dwyane Wade (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=1987) instead of James in those cities.
Toronto, however, will not cooperate in a sign-and-trade with Miami, which has no players in whom the Raptors are interested, according to sources.
To move Bosh to Chicago, the Raptors likely would ask for Joakim Noah (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=3224), though they could perhaps be persuaded to take a package that does not include him.
The Nets would seem to be able to put together an enticing package for the Raptors that included rookie lottery pick Derrick Favors.

:rolleyes

Honestly if the Raptors accept this they are really stupid... no way this is a better package than the Spurs offer and the Houston offer. What are they doing up there?

ESPN - "Bosh does not want to play in Cleveland, despite recruiting effort by Lebron James."

On the real who the fuck wants to go to Cleveland willingly?

If Bosh wants the cash and the chance for a ring he will go to Cleveland. Hard to leave 20 plus million on the table that he will never be able to earn again. Toronto will not trade Bosh to NY, Dallas, Houston, SA, LA, Chicago, NJ or Miami.

Toronto's stupid. I'd rather let Bosh walk for nothing than take Cavalier garbage contracts.

Then again, if you throw $34M at Amir Johnson, $42M for Sideshow Bob doesn't look as bad I guess.

Amir's contract makes Bob's contract look like a steal

Bosh has Toronto by the balls. And if the Raps do make a sign and trade deal, I would definitely attempt to take both Hickson and Varajao. The way to beat Cleveland is keep Floppy off the boards. I don't know how many games they've won just by extra possessions.

And J.J. Hickson must have fucked Mike Brown's mom because he got no run in the playoffs.

LOL he still has to sign off on that shitberg of a city ...

Would be a good move but ... far from making them title favorites ...

Bosh would be a moron not to take that offer right now. If he is unhappy in Cleveland, he can just request a trade later... For some reason, GMs seem to acquiesce to these requests...

Keep telling yourself that.

They will use the MLE on a shooter like Mike Miller.

Bosh to the Cavs? I'm not a big Cavs fan, but I'd be all for it if it means they will win next year lol

Bosh has not softened stance on Cleveland at all. Looks like he won't be a Cav.

Cleveland is the shithole of America. No one wants to go there. I do think Bosh is being somewhat of a bitch because he's coming off as cocky and arrogant during this period of free agency. He's a good player but he needs to remember that he isn't as good as he thinks is. He hasn't even been out of the first round of the playoffs.

Bosh has always been like this..

He's extremely whiny and needs attention, he's like a puppy..I lost count of how many times he called out Raptor fans for not making enough noise or booing the team or something of that nature..he gets offended when he isn't mentioned in talks about star players..he's just a pussy..
