Somehow, I just don't see the Spurs very mentally strong. They can't make FTs, they collapse and lose games that are close.

Maybe Phil Jackson is holding out and waiting until the playoffs are over to see if there is any interest in the Spurs?

I think Phil would do a better job coaching the Spurs than Pop.

As much as I love Pop, championships are about mental toughness, something that's lacking in Pop's coaching.

Phil is one up on Pop in that catagory.

Hahaha yeah right Phil hates us too much to come here.

I hate Phil but this team would KILL running the Triangle offense no doubt about it! With that said there is no way Phil comes here. Pop is a great HC we just need to bring in some fresh blood to help with the offense. Supposedly Huggins is being bought out from Cincinatti. Perhaps we can bring him in and see what he can do for our offense. He made Kenyon Marting look like the next Duncan in college.

*VERY* soft, if we are going to choke the next games and go fishing at least I want the spurs to deliver a few fragants.

i agree completely. spurs are way too soft. if we struggle so much with the sonics, if we were to make it to phoenix we couldnt stand a chance!

Hold up guys, James and a couple other Sonics throw some nasty fouls on us and you cry like mommy took away your rattle. Then you turn around and cry that we arent doing the same thing back to them.

I know you are all in panic mode but dont lose all your class. That would make you Sonics/Thuggets/Lakers fans.

I think if Holt is willing to pay $8-10 million a year, Phil would come to San Antonio.

Popovich lacks fire and coaching that Phil Jackson has a clear advantage over.

Let's be honest: Phil has won championships with less talent than the Spurs.

Phil has already said he wants 10 million a year and there is NO way Holt pays that. Maybe we can just steal someone from his old staff like Tex or something to teach Pop how to run the triangle. This team has the perfect pieces to dominate in the triangle!

If we lose this series Pop won't be fired. However, if we can't win a title next year, he's canned.

If we lose this series, I'd be for canning Popovich.

Can't lose a series in the 2nd round to a team that has less talent and experience.

Phil Jackson = CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!

Spurs lack mental toughness, something that is a trademark of majority of teams Phil coaches.

I'm not worried about the offense.

I'm worried about the mental toughness(or lack thereof).

Dude, a 2nd round exit would be humiliating considering the talent we have on this team.

Absolutely humiliating.

I've been saying for two years now: Ruben Magnano should be an assistant for this squad.

For those of you wondering who the hell that is, he was the HC for the Argentina national team and the architect of the flex offense that has been kicking the ass of everyone in the world the last 3 years.
