Gambo & Snatch just reported that Dud's (Jared Dudley, Sun's Kobe Stopper) has told them that he has it on good authority that James has decided on the Knicks.

I hope he leaves Cleveland because that team is going nowhere. But I doubt this.

I hope he goes anywhere but CLE, just so i don't have to watch the cavs on national tv with those piss poor colors, wine and gold

Then (Snatch) Mark Asher reasoned that Chris Broussard's comment (I'm paraphrasing) that "LeBron doesn't want to be holding his dick when he's 31 without a ring" as further proof that James is headed for the Giant Apple.

Twitter:::James will be in Greenwich, CT, 60 minutes from the city tomorrow night for the announcement. Supposedly this address is Alan Houston's residence.

Alan Houston has a position in the Knick front office.

I'm down with this as long as Lee doesn't end up here.

I'll take it at this point, the thought of Warrick starting is beyond frightening.

Lee will have to agree to no more than $10 million per year.

Say "no!"

Who gives a fuck whether it's Lee or Warrick. Either way the team has no shot at going anywhere, I'd rather them tank and focus on rebuilding than overpay these half assed scrubs.

Jeremy

Boozer to Bulls not good for Suns. Nets will be desperate to overpay Lee now.

Yay the Suns might get David Lee! We can have the lottery bound honky show!

Darrin

If this happens, it re-ignites the Knicks-Heat rivalry. That's probably the Conference Finals for the next ten years (if Amare stays healthy). Of course with Boozer in Chicago, it must be getting tough for Lebron to make a decision.

Reset:::the address of the sit tomorrow night is not Alan Houston's home, but, the Boy's & Girl's Club in Greenwich, CT. ESPN will pick up the tab and give it to the children.

It's almost as bad as how you're fantasizing about a team built around Steve Nash running the pick and roll with David Lee. Phoenix can trademark it I guess, call it the "honky roll".

I'm telling you now, Lee is an upgrade over Amare "3 rebounds in the playoffs" Stoudemire.

it wouldn't surprise me, esp with Amare signing there officially. i had the Cavs as second after the the Nets, though.

i still think the Nets is the best place for him if he wants to win a ring.

You're a fuckin idiot then if that's what you think. I'm willing to guess you watched David Lee maybe 5 times all of last year.

lol Robert Sarver puppet

I hate Sarver and the fact that he probably won't give Lee enough money to get him.

Notice how you evaded the part about how you maybe watched David Lee 5 times all year? David Lee is a product of being on a crappy team coached by the NBA's greatest stat inflater. He's a 10 point 10 rebound player on a winning NBA team, if that.

But, I could see Lee settling here for the $8-10. This is how Phoenix operates: they always end up right side up. They never actually die. I know how this goes.

It's funny how I feel the opposite--seems like Suns always have the worst of luck to me, starting with The Coin Flip. And now with Sarver, it's not just bad luck. :(

Lee is made for the Suns. He'd be ideal, especially at that price. They then jettison Richardson after next season and they're at max contract availability.

I guarantee you that Lee will have better stats (PPG/RPG) than Amare next season if he comes to the Suns.

lol I figured you of all people would at least know how much of a joke his 20 10 season was last year.

Goran Dragic
07-07-2010, 04:46 PM
He'll give you 20/10 on the Suns. I don't think they'll get him, but he's a Z-Bo type player. He wont dominate the game, but somehow always gets his.

He's averaged 13 points and 10 rebounds his entire career. One fluke 20 10 season doesn't make him a 20 10 player. Shawna Marion did the same thing in 2006 due to D'antoni (but at least he did it on a good team).

if Lee with Nash as his point guard, you don't think his stats will improve if he goes to the Suns?

FYI, I've wanted Lee on the Suns since the 06-07 season (way before D'Antoni ever got to NY).

If the Suns don't get Lee, I'll be very upset at Sarver for thinking Warrick is a good enough replacement for Amare. I've only wanted Amare to leave if the Suns will replace him with a good player.

In fact, even if the Suns do get Lee, it will be out of pure luck, not any great planning by Sarver.

Lee put up elite numbers last year, even adjusting for pace. He is very efficient player and does a lot of things that help teams win ball games. Even if he is a poor defender (and I sure don't see that) it's hard to make the argument that he's a big step down from Amar'e. In fact, it is much, much easier to argue it the other way around.

Lee to Phx would be a blessing in disguise for the Suns... he's underrated.

Totally agreed. But it looks like Lee is going to the Warriors, according to Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic.

Looks like the Lee to Warriors deal is only if LeBron does NOT go to NY. If LeBron does go to NY, Suns could still get Lee.

Who's gonna be left in the free agency of '11? No way in hell will Melo play for the suns. I feel sorry for Steve Nash, played his heart out only to be screwed by Robert Saver.

Nash did take that walk in the sun when Terry Porter came on board so he isn't without sin.
