Allen and Celts have agreed on two-year deal worth $10 million annually that includes player option in Year 2. ESPN.com link coming

Edit: I thought that the deal was 2 yr/$10M, not 2 yr/$20M. Sorry about the confusion. :(

All that rigamarole during The Finals about this being their last hurrah was nothing more than strategy to blunt the Laker's drive, get 'em off the snide and distracted. The Celtics are famous for such tacts.

This time it did them nary a benefit. We had them put their upper rung on that curb,,,,,,"now say good night."
