This is a good 1-2.

Bruce Bowen thinks the players should be held accountable for what happened to Brown but the great coaches ie Pat Riley know how to get the most out of their players. Browns offense is Popovich level offensive.

A team can't have back to back 60 win seasons, blow through the first round in both years and not have talent or playoff experience. Mo Williams just suffers from Eddie Jones disease and Mike Brown must have came home and saw JJ Hickson's balls on his old lady's face because dude couldn't get off the bench for shit ........

LeBron will never be blamed for losing, there will always be an excuse.
Best team in the Reg Season two years running doesn't even make the finals...Star Player gets credit for wins and blame for losses (You may not think it's fair, but other stars are judged by this, so why not Bron?)

LeBron's main problem was that the team is not built properly. Don't let people tell you there is no talent on the Cavs' roster. It isn't the Celtics', but it is a solid 8 seed without LeBron, and they play hard on defense. The problem is that throughout LeBron's career he has suffered from 'Big-Z' syndrome. His team's starting center has always been a big lumbering center, be it Shaq or Big Z. Even Big Ben had a knee injury while playing for the Cavs, (yet was still probably the best option at PF/C LeBron has had in his career).

I am not suggesting that the Cavs play 'small ball' or Dantoni ball. But they should have been trying to stick with a center that can get up and down the floor, even if he can't score in the post. Verijao would have been a better option at the starting C than what Mike Brown has been throwing out there.

I actually like Big Z's game, and would have liked him on just about any other team. But he kills LeBron's biggest asset: Running the transition offense.

:lol True dat.Derek Fisher is probably the worst reg. season starting PG on any legit team in the league but that fucker just knows how to hit big shots in big games hahaha. Mo Williams hits a grip of shots in the regular season but shrinks in the playoffs. Some players are just not meant for greatness.

And others have the ball in their hands so much they reduce their teammates to watchers when before they were effective scorers (Jamison, Hughes). And also he tends to stand around and not do much off-ball when he could be such a beast posting up and cutting to the basket and whatnot. He's very effective but his style of play almost seem like it wastes a lot of his potential. imagine the player he could be if he posted up, and made cuts to the basket, or was ever the screener on the pick and roll *drools*

1. Unreliable Jumpshot (celtics exposed this)
2. No post game - James had Rondo on the block 3-4 times in the series and opted to pass
3. No Heart
4. Cares mores about his "Brand" than winning

anything else?

How much was Kobe winning when he had a supporting cast like James?

Mo Williams
Jamison
Shaq
Z
Delonte
Anthony Parker
Moon

that is like 10 times better than:

Odom
Brian Cook
Kwami
Smush
Luke Walton

Don't even try to say those casts are equal :lmao
If Kobe could make the POs in the West with that shit lineup, he definitely could have made the 2nd round at least in the west those years with Lebron's 2010 cast. If he had that cast in the East in 2010, he would have been stopped right where bron was

Odom by himself is better than the combination of all the rest of the crap you just listed for LeBron.

Definitely not. Jamison was crap on the Cavs, but that had a lot to do with playing with Bron, who had the ball in his hands all the time. If you're not super effective off-ball, then you aren't effective on Bron's team.

Do you deny what I said about Kobe being able to do with Bron's '10 cast?

Lots of reasons. Coaching seems to be as likely a #1 reason as anything.

These Cavs of the last few seasons remind me a lot of the late 90s Lakers after Shaq arrived. Fantastic regular season team that , stacked with plenty of talent including a devastating #1 option... and they repeatedly crashed and burned hard in the playoffs. It's easy to forget but the Shaq-led Lakers lost 4-1 in the 2nd round in 97, were swept in the conf finals in 98, and then were swept 2nd round in 99.

Plenty of things changed to get them over the hump in 2000, but the most notable change IMO is bringing in Phil Jackson. Shaq hitting his peak and Kobe hitting his stride helped, but it takes more than talent to win titles. Defense, cohesion, focus, vision... all important. Phil brought that.

If LeBron stays Cleveland will likely eventually find the right formula and when James gets that first title it will likely open the door to a bunch.

half court offense for a team which its weakness. cavs basically ran a pick and roll and expected to have open 3 point shooters. the 3 gimmick ran out. other teams suffered that problem. ask the magic. even when you get open looks you can suck. the magic in game 6 had amazing looks but just missed. dying by the 3

Or he could go down as the Elgin Baylor of the new century. I can see the Lakers winning the next 2 to 4 years all while watching Durant develop into the next big winner to take over when Kobe is done. While Lebron is out creating hoopla in the media, Durant just goes about business and signs an extension, announces it over a 5 min span and moves on to better his game.

Jamison's usage % on Cleveland was 23, his usage % on Washington was 24..but ya, let's blame Lebron :lol..as I said when Spurs fans wanted Jamison, he just isn't a player you should want on your team if you want to win, unless he's a 6th man..his flaws outside of his scoring are too glaring..I didn't mind the trade for Cleveland, because they didn't give anything up, but then Mike Brown didn't know how to play his bigs in the playoffs..

Their regular season record is irrelevant..are people actually saying they don't see the difference between the regular season and playoffs?..there's obviously a massive difference, especially when it's a team like Cleveland, since the other team will key on Lebron and they have nobody else to contribute when he rarely struggles..

LOL @ the post up game and shooting..Kobe struggled more against Boston in 2010 and 2008 than Lebron did, yet he had better teammates and he has this "polished" post up game and shooting..stupid argument..

Mike Brown has no ability how to balance and run his team..he didn't know how to manage the minutes of Jamison/Shaq/Varejao/Hickson/Z and play them in the right circumstances..he fed Shaq too much against Boston..he played too many defensive liabilities together..

I also find it stupid that anybody would criticize Lebron after he was eliminated in 2009, where he was putting up 35 PPG or whatever it was vs. Orlando..

I also find it funny how people think the way Lebron acts off the court affects his game..yes, it's the fact that he loves attention, not the fact that his supporting cast is weak..sorry, but there have only been 2 players in the modern era that have won without a top 20 player in the NBA..Duncan and Hakeem..it's extremely rare..

Lebron can't go 6-24 and win game 7s..

Kobe and Odom were the only above-average players on that 2006 Lakers team. Same holds true for 2007. Wasn't til 2008 when Bynum started to emerge, then the addition of Pau of course, and the emergence of Ariza that the Lakers finally had a great team instead of a great couple of players.

On the other hand...

Jamison was an excellent player this season overall but seems to have caught a case of "old" especially in the 2nd round.

Moon was also outstanding but Brown never figured that out and didn't give him near enough burn.

No idea why Varejao was left off the above list, this guy is criminally underrated... yet another excellent season, the guy is one of the best defenders in the league to boot and worth every dollar of his salary.

Mo and Delonte were both fine players, slightly above average this season.

Hickson and Parker pretty much average players.

Shaq and Z both fell way off this season. No doubt center was a weakness for the team.

The notion that LeBron's team is "trash" without him is ridiculous. They'd still make the playoffs in the weak East. Lose first round.

Lebron's team is trash though..

People see big names and volume scorers on the Cavs, which is why they believe this is some kind of talented team..

Jamison is a good scorer, but he needs a high usage and has major flaws in pretty much every other part of the game..he's arguably the worst defensive big man in the NBA..

Mo Williams is the same way, and he's also a notorious playoff choker..

Shaq is a massive defensive liability and was used horribly by Mike Brown..

The Cavs often played Jamison/Williams/Shaq together, which makes arguably the worst defensive trio in NBA history..

Varejao is the only player on the team that gives a consistent effort in his all-around game(other than Lebron, of course)..

There's no way they make the playoffs without Lebron, they don't win more than 25-30 games IMO..they have too many horrible defenders and most of their guys can't play off the ball..

Yeah this story did sort of disappear all of the sudden. I think Lebron will re-sign with Clev. Power, more money, and the admiration of his home city praising him for staying. He will have more power than the Governor of Cleveland if he stays. If he leaves, he will be leaving behind $, and his hometown.
