View Full Version : WTF is up with all you Pop haters..
Why the hell are you guys saying "fire pop" like some dumb fuck idiots. Don't say that shit just because we lost 2 games at Seattle. Take it like a man and handle a loss, and don't blame it all on Pop. From what I know, Pop is one hell of a good coach, and don't put bullshit on him.

We'll hear you say those same words if Pop loses this series.
Phil Jackson + Tim Duncan = CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!
pop is a good coach but our lack of knowledge on the offensive end is evident.

Well if you took the time to read...
It's because we are working on five of seven years when our offense goes in the shitter in the playoffs. The only constants during that time have been Tim Duncan and Pop. So, which one do you think is more responsible?
As ShoogarBear has so succinctly put: the personnel changes, the tendencies remain the same.
Pop needs to bring in someone to run his offense for him. And if he has his head too far up his ass to realize it, or if his ego is too big to do it, then he needs to get canned.
You know what? Fuck it. When Tim Duncan retires with only two rings, and we've suffered too many offensive playoff collapses to count, maybe some of you will get a fucking clue.

So in Denver, Tim had 39, Tony had 29, and Manu with 24...we had shitty offense? Tony and Manu didn't come to play today, that's it. That's why we lost. Our defense sucked as well. Rasho just let Ray dunk on him, Luke was owning everybody.
It was an off game. They're bound to happen once in a while.

More importantly, who will start the "Fire Pop" threads after we win the series?
Someone with planetary balls I'm guessing.

Can you read? I am talking about SEVEN FUCKING YEARS. There will always be statistical outliers, especially when you're talking about a chump team like Denver and the top teams in the West.
There's a big difference between first round playoff fodder and when you get to the conference semis. Try looking at the big picture (5 of 7 years) instead of isolated instances (Denver game).

Not wanting Pop fired but the effort today was inexcusable.

I don't want him fired, but I do want this guy on our staff with full control and autonomy over our offense next year:

Ruben Magnano, former head of the Argentinian National Team (yes, THAT Argentinian national team - World Championship, Gold Medal, owning Team USA twice).

Absolutely right in the first part...but I don't think so on the second. Tim was the only one I saw who wanted to play ball...Parker, Barry, and Manu must have been day dreaming about their upcoming fishing trip...which is exactly what they will be doing with a couple more "off games" (three so far in the playoffs out of nine games...once in a while????
