Yeah it's exactly the same, once Shaq joined Kobe the rookie and his 8 PPG they ran the entire league into the ground.

you know what I mean. Stop pretending you don't

top tier talent in 1 team compared to the rest has happened before and it happened in Shaq's Lakers. So lakerfans should be the last to bitch or critizize Lebronze

Aren't you the idiot that said Cleveland was going to win it all last season?

So Shaq = LeBron, rookie Kobe = Wade, and Eddie Jones/ Nick Van Exel = Bosh???

Shaq was the best young Center in the NBA back in 1996.

Wade was much better than Kobe, though.

Boston did it with KG, Allen, Pierce

Lakers did it with Kobe, Gasol, Bynum, Fisher, Artest, Odom, etc

No, that was not your example. Your example was retarded.

Also, when have lakers fans complained about the deal? All I've heard is criticism of Lebron's character as a joke for going through with it. It doesnt change the fact that the Lakers are getting that threepeat next year, superfriends or not. They probably won't even be the ones we see in the Finals.

Shaq's signing with the Lakers was a gift to LA…Without Shaquille O’Neal Staples Center would not have been built & Phil Jackson would just be writing another tell all book in his cabin in Montana…

Hater, I believe it's you that needs to stop eating the shrooms.
Lakers are still the team to beat. Not the other way around.

Assumptions can be nasty things at times. Cavs 2010 NBA Champs ring a bell?

Ummm didn't Shaq and Kobe get to LA the same summer, 1996?

Kobe was 17 years old and was nowhere near the caliber of player any three of Wade, LeBron, or Bosh are now. Kobe developed into an elite player while playing with Shaq. It would be more like Duncan joining the Lakers in the summer of 2000.

I agree people shouldn't bitch about this, but the analogy with Shaq and Kobe is extremely off.

:sleep I love how every other teams fans are trying to manufacture this 'miami threat' and expect us to automatically feel threatened. Sorry, but I'm not buying it, and Im sure that goes the same for most other Laker fans. It's honestly just hilarious watching everyone jump on the Miami bandwagon just to have even the feintest of hopes that the Lakers wont repeat again, and comicly overblowing the value this miami teams going to have in the next year to try and find some form of credibility for their misplaced hopes.

Youre best off sticking with the Celtics wagon.

They'll switch next June, just like they did last month.
