Now if they can talk Splitter into the LLE and take Shaq up on his MLE offer, they could have a 6 man big rotation. Duncan-Dyess-Splitter-Blair-Bonner-Shaq.

Seriously though this is a dumb move. If he hit shots in the playoffs I could see it, but he never does. This reminds me of the Yankees stupidly letting Matsui and Damon go, in that if you find players who can excel in the postseason those are the ones you keep. And if you know guys choke you let them go.
