Do you expect him to be re-signed by the Spurs?..
For the love of God, I hope not.

the bonner and rj signing really make me question what the f the front office is doing. tim's gotta be thinking...WTF??????? RJ i can live with....he DOES have talent....but matt bonner? seriously? why is he even in the nba? what does he do that's so damn good? hit SOME shots in the regular season only to disappear in the playoffs?

Why not? After all, the Bonner signing was certainly not an attempt to upgrade the roster talent. Instead, it was more indicative of a "status quo" surrender. So why not bring back the centerpiece?
No.
But.....he was surprisingly good on D-Wade, he made him work and actually altered his game. And he generally hustles. Unfortunately Bogans loses his shot and can't play consistently though.

4 years/$20M ;)
Bogans gives the Spurs a lot of versatility. He can play the 2 and the 3, is built like a bulldog and can stick the corner 3. He's a decent athlete and knows the system well. If we want to have any hope against Wade/James/Bryant, we need a great defender on the wing and in my mind he is one of the Top 10 perimeter defenders in the league, but Pop didn't give him enough chances to prove it.
I'd love to have him back.
(lol Bogans. Fuck outta here you piece of shit.)

Dorrell Wright is about to sign with GS. Just one step closer to the return of the Centerpiece.

As Bruno alluded to in the JJ thread, another step in the direction of bringing back our beloved Centerpiece..is it inevitable?..
