Rick James episode has to be the funniest episode in the entire series. I forgot how funny the show was, and the Rick James episode was absolutely hilarious.

I spent all of last month watching the entire series of Weeds so I can be up to date for this August when it returns. It gets damn good.

Sorry, but how do you think I've been watching Netflix. Can only have one Xbox per account. I also have the disc for the Wii so my kids can watch their shows in their room.

He was a habitual line-stepper.

That's how it would go. He would step over and I'd check him.

I like how Rick James claims he wouldn't mess with the couch for no reason, then immediately says he did it.

"What did the five fingers say to the face? SLAP!"

I'm telling you, I knew it was funny, but I forgot that it was THAT funny. I'm the type of person who rarely laughs out loud, more of a chuckler. But that episode, even though I knew it was coming, had me laughing out loud.

Also, people often imitate the line, but no one says it as funny as Chappelle. "I'm Rick James bitch."

It's just funny how he worked it into every other sentence. You wide nose having motherfuckers.

Wayne Brady and Mad Real World.

White people love Wayne Brady because he makes Bryant Gumble look like Malcolm X. Gotta love Negrodamus.

I don't know what it is but Chappelle making fun of Wayne Brady is like Eminem going hardcore attacking NSYNC and Britney Spears.

The skit about everybody finding out he was rich, and him getting revenge on old enemies were fucking hilarious though.

All of those checks except eminem (which is still not a check, loser) were valid back in 2003 and we all thought it was genius gold like everyone else back then.

The fact of the matter is that it ripped apart black jokes that were considered precious to blacks and exposed them to the entire world and that initial shock was funny to everyone outside of the community. But here we are seven or eight years later and its just not funny any more to normal non-community people.

So suck on that bitch.

Dont get me wrong, as with any sketch comedy show some skits are timeless but chappelles show has run its course.

As a TV junkie, I fully believe it has not stood the test of time. Nothing resembling a KITH, Simpsons, etc

How can you hate on Chappelle's Show??? It's one of the greatest comedy shows ever. If you hate CS you have officially turned into the guy that hates something just because it reached the top.

This you Mookie Crew?

It did get annoying as fcuk when everybody and their dog kept saying "I'm Rick James, bitch!" Kind of ruined that skit for me. I saw the prince skit a couple days ago though, and was still lmao.

It did get old fast. Then it went away and all was well with the world. I hadn't seen the Rick James episode in years. I saw it again, and it was hilarious and reminded me of why I hated everyone saying "I'm Rick James bitch". No one could say it like Chappelle did. It was just so much funnier when he did it and the timing of it all.

I can't say I can watch episodes of Chappelle's Show over and over and laugh every single time like with the Simpsons, but the shit is still funny all these years later.

Chapelle realized how racist his show was. Went to Africa, just like Richard Pryor did, and came back an enlightened man. Walked away from 50+ million.

I have a lot of respect for this man.

As for Eminem. I don't see the connection to Chappelle, but aside from that, while some of his songs are just fluff, his latest seems pretty good. Better than most of the music that is making it to mainstream. Once he checks his anger completely and stops preaching to follow him and starts preaching to follow Him, he'll be on top.
