That's with having a poor shooting night in game 4. Still had 15/9/6 AND 5 steals in that game. Mookie's just trying to start shit. Unsuccessfully.

mookie2001

is 3.8 rebounds good?

how about the most important stats- wins and FG %?

wait, the wins would be zero because we got swept but what about FG%?

oh ok

i clicked on it

then its easy, right click then copy (cant cut because its a website) and paste here

.411

41% and 0 wins

2-8 and 2-11 in two games

that wont cut it

looking back at that series, it turned out bad

how about the most important stats- wins and FG %?Sweet, so the actual title should be "how did the Spurs team do v PHX" since you're counting wins against a single player.

wait, the wins would be zero because we got swept but what about FG%?

41% after game 4. 46.7% before game 4. He had a bad shooting night (2/11) but was 10/12 from the FT line.

lol Manu hate

3.8 RPG is what he averages during the regular season. It's the same average as OJ Mayo and more than what players like Ray Allen, Jared Dudley (a SF), JR Smith, Arron Afflalo, Andres Nocioni (also a F), and Rasual Butler average.

Manu's broken nose affected him, which didn't help the Spurs. He took the elbow in game 3? I think.

That was a tough injury for him and he was not as efficient the rest of the playoffs.

Manu was the main reason we were not the 8th seed in the playoffs, or out.

He was GREAT in the dallas series.

He was injured in phx series and did not do as well.

Manu is an injury prone inconsistent player. He upped his game right before his signing and it was downhill after his signing. This is the 3rd year in a row Manu is injured in the playoffs.

all i know is that, this was manu's team. Parker was injured and Duncan is well Duncan 2010.

After the nowitzki hit, ginobilli lost his fire and he couldn't get his teammates fired up. 20 ppg, yeah.. on pheonix who had a deep rotation of semi decent defenders. That doesn't mean shit.

Parker torched pheonix once for 5000 ppg and then he dissapeared against the lakers.

FFS Dirk broke his nose by swinging an elbow. That is a shitty injury, but an injury nonetheless. Manu was the best 2 guard of the second half of the season along with D-wade and he really played very well to help get the Spurs into the playoffs and also took over the team.

I don't know if he ran out of gas or the nose affected his play, but if you're asking me I'd say it affected his play. It'd be hard to shoot with that on your face as it'd be affecting you field of vision. Manu was shooting very well, even in games one and two of that Dallas series, so seeing his shooting percentage drop after the broken nose I'd say it affected his play and shooting.

Tim, Tony and Manu haven't really had any help the last two seasons so I will say if they get help they will be fresher come playoff time and will perform better. You can't blame these guys for carrying the whole load and then getting hurt because they had no help in the first place. Carrying a team is not easy, just look at T-mac and how banged up he is.

Tony had a difficult year. These "Tony" haters have been at it for awhile now (all through the regular season) shit, there was even a "Fuck you Tim Duncan" thread that popped up by DMX.

Tony haters will quickly vanish once he gets back on the court this season, especially him playing during a contract year. He will be a beasstttttt.

If we want any chance at competing for the title you better hop on the Tony bandwagon because he is our only hope. We go where he takes us this season.

Got to watch a lot of play-off action that didn't involve the Spurs this time around because i finally signed up to league pass broadband . Noticed three other players command the attention Manu received against the Suns. Meaning, team defenses soley focused on containing ONE player's game. From taking out driving lanes with multiple defenders to 2-man traps. These guys saw it all. Every-one else was secondary. They were Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant and Lebron James. Read up and listen to Alvin Gentry through-out the series. He had only Manu in mind. Some-else posted in this thread RJ shooting open jumpers? Now you know why.

During the regular season Manu Dominating in March/April caught a lot of teams by surprise . During the play-offs the opposition was ready.

No, manu didn't win any games on his own but it's not that hard to figure out on why he didn't.

Sounds pretty damn easy.

Oh I don't know, I guess I'll play too, let's take the first round (since you covered the 2nd vs. PHX) of the playoffs and let's find some stats from Tim Duncan, that top3 power forward of all time, who actually gets paid more than Manu does...

Game 4, 1/9 shooting :o ...but somehow the Spurs won, thanks to George Hill.
Game 5, 3/9 shooting with only 6 rebounds, won't cut it from our only big man, we lost the game.

At the end of the reg. season Duncan shot 1 for 10 vs. Orlando with only 6 boards, when the Spurs were chasing down a spot for themselves in the playoffs. It's a shame they lost because Manu showed up with 8/13 shooting....

wait a minute, WTF am I doing, WTF is the point of this game?

You're a fucking moron.

Slippy

It has to be said. Game 3 was the game that mattered the most. A must win situation. The only player that showed up and carried the team was Manu. Tony gets a pass as he took a heavy hit to the floor but where were the rest of their teammates?

You could say they got Dragiced!!! If not for an extraordinary effort, this would of been the game Manu won for the team.
