someone check my numbers. chalmers makes 800k. if wade takes 14.2 and lebron and bosh both take 14.5, it's .8 + 14.2 + 14.5 +14.5 = $44 million.

58-44 = $14 milllion of cap space. wtf? is that true?

Son these teams doing S&T is gonna screw over the Mavs. What bad luck that when the Mavs have the Dust chip these clowns (Bosh and Lebron) go to the same team and get S&T after their original teams said they wouldn't trade them lol

Now Cleveland might go after Al Jefferson and over pay him...thus screwing over the Mavs who are in negotiations to get him. Well it sucks to be a Mavs fan....oh well...as long as the cHeat don't win

MH whats the word on Mike Miller? They have about 13 million to spend. How much would Haslem cost to resign? You'd have a little over 7 million or so AFTER getting Miller. I'd imagine you split that with Haslem and another player. If Eddie House could be had for cheap, he'd be worth getting. He is a cocky sob but he can shoot and make big shots. That's assuming you don't land Fisher though.

3) that 2006 ring, haslem played a huge part. he played very good D on dirk nowitzki

Wow. Miami is in pretty fucking good shape with those deals taken by Bosh/James/Wade.

CAP $58 milllion
-----------------
Wade $14.2M
James $14.5M
Bosh $14.5M
Miller $5.2M
Chalmers $0.85M
Cap holds for 6 roster spots under 11 = 6*$474k = $2.8M

Remaining capspace: $6M

They could realistically get Haslem and Fisher for that. Give Haslem $3.5M and Fisher $3M. :wow

Actually is pretty impressive by all three guys. I know when you've already made or guarantee to make well over $100 million in your career, going from $120 million to around $90-100 million is much easier to do. But I still think you have to commend them for really finding a way to make it work and still give Riley some wiggle room to try to construct a solid supporting cast. Don't give them too much credit because they're already multi-multi-millionaires. But give them a little bit of credit.

No way I'd offer that to Fisher... not at the expense of Haslem. Maybe $4.5M to Haslem and $2M to Fisher would be more reasonable, seeing that Haslem is 30 (for some reason I thought he was 33 or 34).

They should get at least one big huge body to keep Howard from setting up right under the rim before every play. Hell that 300 lb scrub Fesenko from Utah would be better than nothing. Maybe him plus Z.

Wasn't Z hurt the year before?
Howard was just way too strong for him. Couldn't stop him from setting up shop under the rim.

Yeah, he's a scrub like I said. But he's 300 lbs, and all he has to do is play 20 minutes a game against the Magic and keep Howard from setting up underneath the basket though.

i really think even with pittman and a serviceable big they have Orlando beat, i think only opposition is LA, and i dont think they are a lock out of the west next year

you guys act like howard is prime shaq

the guy is a fucking scrub on offense, he only has like 2 moves

dunk and layup

anything past that, and you see an awkward, offensively limited wannabe trying to be a scorer.

howard needs to accept his role in life. he's a rebounding machine, blocks shots, score a little, but thats about it.

he can have his 20 ppg, heck, even 30 ppg. fuck him

nobody else will be able to step up. just guard howard 1on1 and keep him from setting up under the rim, and he's neutered.
