SAN ANTONIO (AP)---The San Antonio Spurs have placed shooting guard Brent Barry on the injured list with a severe case of testicular atrophy. Barry, who signed in the offseason and was widely expected to help bolster the Spurs' outside shooting, has been struggling to hit open shots all season. The condition has worsened during the playoffs, forcing the roster move. "We just don't know when Brent, or his nuts, will be able to join the rest of our team," said Coach Greg Popovich, "We were hoping to go day-to-day, but it's obvious his nuts have been missing most of the season."
In his place, the Spurs will start Manu Ginobili, who will provide the Spurs with much-needed testicular support for a critical Game 5 showdown with the Seattle Supersonics.
