Miami has also begun looking at minimum salary for its backcourt, with a search that sources say has focused on Heat alumni Jason Williams, Mike James and Keyon Dooling along with Earl Watson.

Earl Watson would be a great signing for the Heat.

He is great passer in transition, can make an open 3 and is a nice defender.

What sucks the most about Miami winning a bunch of championships is the fact that all these no-name scrubs are gonna be rewarded rings for sucking enough to warrant a league minimum salary.

Why bother with Mike James? I can hit NBA 3's at a 33% clip, play no defense, take the league minimum, and I'll be the water boy too.

He's slowed down a lot in the last two years from what I've seen in the few games I've watched him play in.

ohh, probably no season next year so most players will likely not sign 1 year for min. to build their reputation.
