Was talking to a friend about this. He thinks that maybe with a new owner... and after time has passed.. and James holds many Cavs records.. so they might retire it
but I think... no way. Cleveland fans do not forget :lol your thoughts?

Actually, that could be the ultimate "f- you!" to Lebron. They hang up the jersey he wore, but not for him (for MJ!)...basically like telling people he never played there. OUCH!

Dan Gilbert will convince their next 2nd round draft pick to wear #23.

:lmao
If I was Gilbert Id prevent players from wearing it and hang #23 in the rafters with the words TRAITOR stiched on the back. No ceremony or anything.

Johnny Damon leaving to the Yankees was not even treated like this.
The magnitude of this butthurt is because he went to Miami with Wade/Bosh. NBA is fucked :lol

Dont forget what? That he was a free agent and this is a business?
Cavs should consider themselves lucky to have a player like Lebron for 7 years. They raised their attendance from an average of 11k to selling out consistently.
I think Lebron is a little bitch for having that one hour special but I dont fault him for joining the Heat.

I'm sure that Cleveland will retire his number one day, my question is what comes first Raptor fans not booing Vince Carter or Lebron James number being retired

Vince has no shot at getting his number retired. He's not even a Hall of Famer. I know something like that hasn't stopped a team like Boston from hanging them up, but still. At least those players spent the majority of their careers there.

I didn't say, Vince Carters number retired, I said what will happen first Vince Carter not to get booing from Raptor fans meaning when he plays there or James number getting retired.
