Better to have 2-3 options than 0 options.

What a great problem to have :lol..

The other team will likely only have 1 defensive stopper, so you could go to the other guy..you could go to the guy with the best overall matchup..you could go to the guy that is hot that game..you could give it to either guy, and they're pretty much guaranteed to get an open look for a teammate if they pass it out..

The more I think about Lebron's decision the more I'm impressed at the guy.

He either had no idea of how his legacy would be perceived or he just doesn't care and wants to win.

He will literally be ridiculed as Pippen 2.0 for the rest of his career.

Statistically, Lebron has been arguably the clutchest player in the NBA for years, I don't know where the idea comes from that he isn't a closer..well, I do know where it comes from, the biased Al-Quobe media, but just saying..

Wade is clutch too, but he was actually horrible in clutch time situations last year, it was uncharacteristic of him..

It'll be worse than Pippen 2.0.

Pip didn't bail on his hometown team (close enough).

Look at how Magic's legacy was destroyed by playing with 2 Hall of Famers and tons of great role-players.

Yeah Pippen is a 2 time MVP and avereged 26 PPG 7 APG 7 RPG during his career. Oh yeah he also won 3 championships in high school and that aint all his achievments.

3/4 people on an ESPN poll said D Wade...if you guys care.

Honestly it doesn't matter all 3 guys could make a play, but if I had to choose I'd pick Wade.

It's different though...he didn't leave a team to join those guys. He was always a Laker.

See if LBJ stayed in Cleveland and somehow one of those guys (Wade, Bosh) very few people would be saying this.

His legacy isn't destroyed. He's still a fantastic talent. His chance to be the GOAT took a huge hit though.

Who takes the shot?

Wade. James is good, not great, in that scenario. Bosh isn't great, either. Wade, on the other hand, has at least 12 game-winners in his back pocket.

Kobe will never be compared to Pippen because he has won titles as the main man. He willfully forsake the possibility of more titles with Shaq because he wanted to be the unquestionable #1. Comparing Magic Johnson to Lebron is equally ludicrous. Magic was drafted by the Lakers, he had no say in what players came onto the team and he never left the Lakers to go join some super team of stars. Is Spur fan really this dumb?

Even with a team full of stars one player has to be the go-to guy in the clutch. Look at our recent Team USA, that man was Kobe. Look at the Celtics Big 3, that main is Pierce. I suspect Wade will assume that role as this new Miami team takes shape.

The answer is what the entire NBA fears: It doesn't matter

Yeah, until whomever DOES take the shot and misses--then all hell will break loose and they will second guess themselves.

They will be good at first, but they will not have depth and they will be scouted and weaknesses exposed and ultimately brought back down to earth and humbled. book it.

It wasn't a problem with Walt Frazier, Earl Monroe, and Willis Reed. It wasn't a problem with Kareem, Magic, and Worthy. It wasn't a problem with Duncan, Manu, and Tony.

If LeBron had somehow signed with the Lakers this summer, would Laker fans be saying, "oh no, what happens in the closing minutes of a close game?!" No. They'd say that they were unbeatable.

:lol If Lebron had signed with L.A., 99% of the responses from Laker fans would've been some 'haters gonna hate' gifs/pictures.

As good as Lebron is, I'm glad we have Kobe instead of him.

Lebron epitomizes everything that is wrong with today's professional athletes. Say what you want about Kobe's personal life, but his work ethic is unquestionable and he is without a doubt a true student of the game. Lebron merely gets by with his freakish physical talents, if he put in 50% of the effort Kobe did he'd be unstoppable. He's too busy hyping his free agency decisions and marketing himself to care though.

Well thats an easy answer, Wade of course.. There's a reason that the media only shows ONE clip of James buzzer beaters, which is the one of him beating the Magic in the PO's that one time they almost got swept :sleep

I doubt many.

If they're smart they'll go with whichever player has the worse wing defender on him.
