At this time I'm gonna put my money on GSP.
He's got better competition then Anderson which comes naturally second at this moment until Sonnen will drop him on his ass and retire him.
Brock still is not enough, BJ is not a champ and Shogun needs about 2 to 3 victories to be considered the best - depends on GSP and Silva fights.
Fedor got lost in Werduma Triangle and that's it

I voted for Brock, he's more impressive to me than Silva because he's fought the baddest dudes. Silva has had few tests and he's at the top of his game, we haven't seen Brock's full potential yet. If Silva could beat a motivated Rampage and Shogun...then I'd gladly eat a bowl of STFU. But he wouldn't, so I'm not.

This is what it comes down to for me. When was the last time anybody even came close to beating Anderson? Of course he's had the bizarre fights (Leites, Maia, etc) but nobody's even touched him since he joined the UFC.
Nobody's come close to beating GSP since Serra but that was more recent than Silva's last loss. That's what differentiates it for me.
I'm expecting/hoping that Anderson gets back to his violent ways with Sonnen because the guy is doing all he can to provoke him.

It is pound for pound. P4P, Brock isnt even close. Put him at the same weight as GSP and he gets kills

I think he could. It's that mental game I keep harping on. Even a motivated Jackson could be defeated by the more cerebral fighter - it's not like Silva would be giving up a lot of size, either.

When that's your defintion, Silva has the has the best chance of winning at WW/MW/LHW. I think in terms of resume and consistently facing the toughest guys...Silva has benefitted from being king of a weight class for dude's that don't want to cut weight for WW and guys too small for LHW. Amiright? Probably half-right, there's good fighters there but it's not stacked like LW and WW with a long-reigning champion.
Hendo and Lutter gave Silva some fits, go back and check those fights out. Wrestlers with chins have a chance to outpoint him at least, Sonnen will try to do that if he isn't turned into ground meat before then.

Brock beats guys because he is so massive and huge, he can lay on top of them and pound the shit out of them. Pound for Pound means straight up who is the better fighter with weight classes dismissed. So Lesnar vs GSP.. think about the same frame and skill set just at the exact same weight who wins..
