Does anyone know which group/groups are responsible for attracting and bringing different sports organizations and tournaments to San Antonio? Is this strictly a city issue or does a particular group work on this?

Same here. I rather have football than soccer.

It is not because it is soccer...but because it is basically a free ride for a team....give an NFL team free ride instead....more people would be at the game and bring in more revenue......soccer would attract 200 or 300 people...football would come closer to filling the dome.....you could play soccer in the YMCA and still have room for Volleyball the same night.

No I hate it because its soccer. I could come up with reasoning for why soccer is stupid but why bother. I don't mind if 400 people like it but the Mayor expects if the team gets here than San Antonio will flock to it just b/c its our team. I mean I would rather have the CFL back and they're just as stupid with their 55 yard line.......I bet they say the same thing about our 50 yard line and how we dont use the metric system.....stupid Canadians :p

50 yard line?:D

I personally just don't like soccer...IMHO it is really boring.......I don't want to see a 1-0 score every other game.
