Worth a shot. Hes young, seems to have good scoring ability, good rebounder, and solid fundamentals - doesnt seem to rely entirely on athletic ability.

I'd give him 1/2 the MLE. Might be better to split it between two younger players than a guy like Harrington who would've taken the whole thing for 15-20 minutes a game.

agreed.
I wonder what they might be able to get Shannon Brown or Ronnie Brewer for? Either one of them should be able to give some quality minutes at SG, bringing some athleticism and youth to the team.

I'd happily take him tbh, low risk/high reward. Plus he seems to like playing in San Antonio.
