has anyone heard anything about him lately? i thought he requested a trade to somewhere that he can get more PT...

i wonder if the Mavs could get him? he would be great to start at SG. very good shooter, and is clutch. not sure how he is defensively, handles, passing, etc... because I havent seen him enough, but I think he would be nice. Hes young too.

Fernandez would be a great fit for dallas, he's athletic and can hit the 3. He'd take a load of minutes from JET so he would be fresher when he comes in the game.

All I know is he hasn't been half of the player he was prior to Trevor Ariza undercutting him on a breakaway layup.

X2

Paul allen said no way we are trading him unless its part of a big piece for the team, he said he would rather burry him on the bench then trade him lol... I really hope he comes back to form next season, he really is (when healthy) a great addition to any team, plus he's great at speeding the tempo up wich our bench loves.

Rockets were looking at him. Lots of NBA teams have interest in him...so I don't know why he would prematurely sign with PAO

How many???? 15??? C'mon man, he wasn't able to play in Houston, and came back to your crap country crying...

You can easily play with these guys because they're Americans and they don't know about European basketball, but you're just saying stupid things...

And, by the way, your "idol" just gave you a LeBron signing with your "friends" in Olympiakos...no way you'll see Fernandez in Green: why should he go to Greece when he could get the same playing at home? You and your newspapers are just stupid liars...

just see Roddy's treatment you'll see how much PT Rudy would be given by Carlisle.

I don't see anything the Mavs have that Portland would want, unless they want a product of the Northwest in Jason Terry.

The only guy whose salary matches Rudy's is Beaubois and that ain't happenin. If they needed another mediocre backup PG they could always have Barea.

Rudy needs to be part of a trade that brings back an elite player to Portland or he should go for a draft pick that has lottery potential.

Mavs could easily get him for the Trade exception they received from the Bobcats

Rudy Fernandez Personally Confirmed He Should Be With Panathinaikos Soon

When Panathianikos wants a player they get him. Rudy Fernandez just personally confirmed to one of the largest papers in Greece in an interview that he is in talks with Panathinaikos Athens and that he hopes to be join the club soon. Basically, he's saying that within a very short time he expects the transfer to be officially completed.

So basically, he should be signing with Panathinaikos any day now.

Haven't been following him since his rookie year.

Who can we trade for him?

Likely he's going somewhere else in the NBA. Next option, Spain, but not likely right now. Unlike what other newspapers say, he's not rejecting any team in the NBA, even if he has his preferences ("no descarto ningún equipo, no creo que haya que descartar nada, sino que se tiene que hablar y se tiene que ver la mejor opción y la mejor salida. Mi representante y yo tenemos nuestras preferencias, pero esto queda entreél y yo").

no way blazers trade him. especially to a team like mavs/spurs or a contender.

he will probably rot on the bench this year

He will be traded to the East, most likely New Jersey or NY.
