Let's pretend that Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban actively supported Brazilian star center Tiago Splitter leaving his Spanish team to come to the States and play for his rival San Antonio Spurs.

And lets say that Mark Cuban broke the news of the foreign player transfer saying things like:

"It's fantastic...We've seen players come over before who showed how great they were, but not necessarily every night.

"It's amazing that he's willing to come over at this stage of his career, to be honest."

"He's accomplished so much. I don't know how many players have won as much - he's won in Spain..He loves America..and is ready for a new challenge. So I'm thrilled I'll be able to see him on a daily basis."

Is that tampering or just mind-blowingly crazy?

But when it's Steve Nash who is the rival team owner and noted French cheating footballer Thierry Henry who is coming from Spain then it's all goooooood.

And Steve, how about helping get an MLS franchise in Phoenix? They can play at the new Cardinals stadium out of the summer time heat and we could call them the Phoenix Fire or the Phoenix Rising or better yet, the Arizona Life Lock!

Dan Patrick asked Henry on Friday who was the better passer, Nash or Parker. Henry wouldn't answer because he's good friends with both. I just looked at my radio and said, "Come on, I'm a Spurs fan but it's Nash by far."

To Henry's credit, he admitted it was a handball and he actually apologized to the Irish team and said the game should be replayed. Of course, FIFA actually refused to do something that made sense, you know, like not using instant replay on goals.
