We had a good crop of watermelons this year. Still have a few tomatoes going but fading fast. The grapes and blackberries are kicking ass but still another year from bearing.

As cheap as japs ans serranos are at HEB I don't even mess with them. I never had any luck growing the larger peppers like multi-color bells and poblanos. They would never get big and beautiful like the ones in the store. I grow lots of rosemary, mint, and basil in pots at the house. I use a ton of fresh herbs cooking.

Not really. I got one tomato and one basil plant, both are champs.
I got a buddy on the other hand who has a huge organic garden, several varieties of tomatoes, broccoli, hemp, lettuce, tomatillos, beans, snap peas, squash, asparagus, you name it. I routinely get hooked up with his surplus produce, but I'm still more than jealous.

That's beautiful CC. How about the pomegranates? I'm famous for my pomegranate jam, you know, but I can do grape too ;)

I never found any decent pomegranate trees. I've still got plenty of room though... I did plant peach, plum, fig, pear, orange, lemon, and lime trees though. Plus of course, the olives.
