I know people was mad cuz Jefferson opt out cuz of some $$$ that was said we would lose! So my question is do we have that $$$ now that he has resigned? & how much is our LLE if we got it?(Throw me some names that is in that price range if you like). I don't know if this has been answered already but if it has can someone direct me to it?

I believe he was alright last year. The Spurs need to know how to use him also. He always run on a break along side Tony! Tony just never passed the ball!
Spurs still need a back up SF so I think they're still willing to pay more $$$ as long as they can find a defender/shooter. They were in the hunt for guys like Bell and Jones.

I agree, it might be better just go with what the Spurs have in personal right now and see how the players can pan out before deadline.

Agree. I don't think they use it. There's really nothing left out there - especially at that paltry discounted rate.

somethings not right if you ask me, think about it guys every year pop has had that wannabe lock down defender ala B.bowen and this year all of a sudden he signs bonner/dick jeff added a good rookie/my man tiago but wheres that wing defender that pop loves so much ?????? he has never played a season without a good wing defender or "wannabe defender centerpiece" i think theres more to come theres just no way he goes without that bowen replica. i sure would love to see bonner and jeff traded but im sure thats highly unlikely

I hope they find themselves a backup SF before they decide to call it a (bad) offseason.

I would like to see the Spurs try to run Anderson as a back up SF and then make a run for Fernandez for SG. His salary is low enough we could get him for a couple of non guaranteed contracts and a 1st round pick.

Spurs could always use the rest of the MLE at some point during the season when someone gets cut to bring him in if the kids dont work out.
