My Braves have been rolling since the all-star break and today starts there series with your Cards. Should be a good test for the Braves, we'll see if the pitching holds up against the bats of the Cards.

Byrd is streaky but if he can get through the first couple innings I like the Braves tonight.

Should be fun

Bring it!

lol.

Its hard to watch these august games, with the 12 and half game lead and all.

I cant wait till Sept 1st when they call up players, and we get another look at Rick Ankiel.

Im hopin hes straightened out now, he looks great in the minor leagues right now.

The Ace Carpenter wont pitch this weekend because of a back problem, but Danny Haren will pitch sunday, and hes on his way up, kid throws smoke and has great movement on his pitches.

He reminds you of a Jason Schmidt.

Woody Williams tonight, hes pitched great lately, has like a 1 ERA in his past 8 starts.

Jason Marquis saturday, who IMO, is on the way up, has the best ERA on the team, is an 11 game or 12 game winner right now, I cant remember.

Im ready, lets get it on, Im ready for tonight already! :)

Woody Williams has been impressive. JD or Chipper needs to take something deep pretty soon to get the Braves back in it.

Atleast Philly is being worked over by San Fran so I know the Braves lead will stay at 7 games :)

Byrd is over 100 pitches now, I think it's time to call it a day

livin in the past Ice,

This year itll be Rolen and Pujols as the MVP's, seeing as your circle jerk black panther partner Bonds wont make the playoffs.

4-0, thanks to Larry Walker.

Yeah Jayson Stark, hes lost some power in that swing.

2-5

2 home runs 3 rbis in two days.

Im still waiting for the haters that were saying "Its only June"

to admit they were wrong.

1 down, 2 to go.

Jason Marquis tomarrow, going for win number 10 in a row.

Damn T Park...you either push enter too many times or you're signature is way too long. Too much blankness.

Good win by the Cards, Williams looked good

Jason Marquis tomarrow, going for win number 10 in a row.

And Ortiz will be going for his 8th so it should be entertaining

The most important stat in baseball for a hitter is ops. The difference between #1 Bonds and #2 Helton is the same as #2 Helton and #102 Bernie Williams. Thats how good Bonds is you fucking moron.

T Park Num 9

Yeah Ice because teams are too big a pussys to pitch to him.

The Cardinals in the recent three game series about 2 weeks ago, pitched to him every time, and he was about ohhh 1 for 12 with 1 home run.

IMO, pitch to him, and see what happens.

Thats why his OPS is so high.

Pujols and Rolen are the MVP's this year, not your circle jerk blood brother Bonds.

Get over it.

Well the pitchers duel turned into a slug-fest

Braves win 9-7

All tied up going into the rubber game Sunday night on ESPN Carpenter vs Thomson

If the Braves are going to win they will have to do it with hitting, because Thomson has been struggling

T Park Num 9

Danny Haren is pitching tommmorow not Chris Carpenter.

Cardinals had a 7-6 lead but blew it.

No biggie, King and Tavarez dont usually pitch that bad.

75 and 40. up 12 and a half on the Cubs.

Braves will have a 9 game division lead if they can win it tonight. Pretty amazing since they were in 4th place in the division less than two months ago.

Cardinals win 10-4

Rolen 2 home runs 4 RBIs

102 RBIS for the year

Pujols 1, 2 run homer, he has 36 and leads the NL. 89 RBIs for the year.

Cardinals win another series on the road, win another game on the road.

Best road team in baseball.

best TEAM in baseball. 76-40.

SORRY TLC.

Back home for a 3 game series with Cincinatti, and a 4 gamer with Pittsburgh.

Good series

It's hard to beat a good team if you commit three errors and leave eight on base. Could have used JD Drew tonight.

The Braves lost 2 out of 3 and still managed to increase the division lead thanks to Philly sucking ass so it's all good.

maybe the rematch will be in postseason

TLC your gonna start to see the real side of JD here.

Last night missed the game because of a hammy.

He has the lowest threashold of pain of any athlete Ive ever seen.

Edmonds would play witha broken leg before Drew would play with a hangnail.

We were exstatic with getting rid of his underachieveing wuss ass.

He's on pace to play 145 games and finish above .300 so I won't call him a pussy quite yet. That's about 60 more games than I thought he would make at the begining of the year.

T Park Num 9
08-16-2004, 07:27 PM
give him time TLC.

The real JD Drew will rear his ugly head, and you wont like it.:p
