Barnes had one of the best ratings in the NBA at defending through screens, he was elite at it this season..he had an average rating at defending 1 on 1 iso plays, and he was average at everything else..

I don't see how that could possibly equal being a bad defender..he's a slightly above average/above average defender from a team perspective..

I do agree about his offense though, it probably won't fit with LA..most of his offense comes from cutting and transition, along with inconsistent 3-point shooting that can't be relied upon..

No, Toronto would have been worse because they were going to pay him something like $9-10 million for three years. $3.8 million or whatever it is for an NBA contract is not so bad because it's disposable.
