The choice is not all right...

It's a good choice.
Ed Norton was solid, but he's a primmadonna on the set and would alienate everyone around him.
Eric Bana is too pretty and big for this role at the moment.

I've gone back and forth on this. Most of the stuff that I know him from are romantic comedies and the like, but I've heard some rave reviews about some other stuff he's done, namely You Can Count On Me. I don't know that I'd ever really be happy with any replacement pick after Norton. That kind of role seems perfect for him even if the environment of blockbuster franchise doesn't.

I didn't like Edward Norton at all as Bruce Banner. tbh I don't mind this. But I'm not a big Hulk fan so it really doesn't matter to me either way.

Norton was unbearable on the set and tries to re-write every movie he's in everyone knows this. Ruffalo is fine, besides its not like Bruce Banner was some badass. He was pretty whiny in a lot of the comics I read as a kid iirc actually.
I've learned not to question casting directors, because I'm not one. I remember when I heard they cast Heath Ledger as The Joker, I remember thinking: They cast the fag from Brokeback as Joker? I was kinda wrong about that one.

I think Mark Ruffalo is great. Not sure if this will work but I'm probably not seeing it anyway. I would never compare him to Shia Labouf though, that's cold.

I have more confidence in Ruffalo as Banner than I do in Hemsworth as Thor. I really think Alexander Skarsgård would have been a better choice.
But I was looking forward to Norton on screen with Downey, Jr. Norton could have held his own - Ruffalo seems destined to fade into the background...

Infinity Gauntlet would be an awesome movie... in theory. In reality, it's impossible to do.
First off, the Infinity Gauntlet story is only interesting/moving if you already have a good idea of the major players in the Marvel Universe, especially some of the Cosmic characters.
Second, while they could theoretically show the heroes all fighting Thanos, there's no way to show him taking on all the Gods without it looking silly. Maybe a battle with Eternity could be done, but I doubt the audience would be able to follow.
Third, the ending is pretty damn anticlimactic. I won't spoil it though.

I must admit I have watched the Spiderman and Batman movies though.

As for Ruffalo, I quite like him as an actor and think he'll be a good Bruce Banner. After all the changes, though, I don't have much hope for the future of Hulk movies as a franchise. I'd say let him be a part of The Avengers and then let it be.

The first Hulk movie was the worst comic book to big screen I have ever seen. For all the hype that movie was total crap. I actually liked the second one alot, but I am a huge Norton fan so that may have had alot to do with it. I agree with the person that said they were looking forward on seeing Norton and Downey on screen together.

I think this also means the odds of ever seeing the longer cut of Norton's hulk movie that he & the director favored with more character development have gone down considerably, unless Marvel Studios is short on cash and releases it to try to milk whatever money is left out of the movie.

They can't even make a very good looking Hulk animated movie, which is a shame because it should easily translate. Some of the Ultimate Avengers stuff did a decent job, but Lionsgate ruined Planet Hulk with halfass animation. Too many people like the Hulk for them to stop though.

Eh, four-color isn't for everyone, but there are still some great stories dealing with capes. Dark Knight Returns, Red Son, Kingdom Come, the Watchmen, Sandman Returns (pretty much any Vertigo comic) for DC, and the Ultimate line from Marvel are good works.
Image produces Invincible which is funny and wonderful. Reminds me of old Spiderman stuff.
And then there's a ton of stuff that doesn't involve capes, like the Walking Dead, Chew, Y: The Last Man, etc etc.

unless they start buyin rights from other countries and reproducing it, then again original is always better

True. I stopped reading comics decades ago though and was just a kid and still into comics like Archie, Sadsack, Durango Kid, Sgt. Rock and others. Never got into it after that.

AMC is ripping shit up right now.
My big question is when is Downy Jr. going to get sick of playing Tony Stark? You figure 2 movies already... sure they make an Iron Man 3 (or does this count as Iron man 3?).. if not.. figure IM3.. Avengers.. Avengers 2-3.. Gotta get old sooner or later.

Yes, it's based off the comic. :) If it's half as graphic as the comic, they better play that after 10 at night. :lol
