That's almost as aggravating as "Dwyane" Wade, in a different way. If Wade weren't bad ass, no one would ever try to type it correctly.

i think wade's parents must have been dyslexic because dwayne is how it should be spelled. dwayne rhymes with wayne. dwyane rhymes with yanni. dwayonney.

Until you mentioned it, I never noticed it. I had to google it to see what you were talking about. Now I'm just embarrassed for him.

I also always thought it was a mistake.

I remember a business that had a strange spelling for their name, and I asked one of the owners about it, and he admitted it was a spelling mistake. But after it was on all the corporate docs and legal papers, they just decided to leave it as is.

Also, Antawn Jamison's first name is pronounced "Antwan". It was misspelled on his birth certificate.
