Who makes the better sandwiches?

Quizno's bread is too narrow. But they make better sandwiches.

I will take Togo's over both tho.

I could take either one. It's a sandwich. Nothing special.

I get the chicken bacon ranch footlong with provolone, pickles, and lettuce on toasted white bread at Subway. Have not been to Quizno's in quite a while. What am I missing?

I have one of each near my house. I dig the classic Italian from Quiznos but I like the Subway melt from, well, Subway. All depends on what I'm in the mood for.

Quiznos, mainly due to the far superior quality of their bread. Subway's bread, especially when toasted, is so hard that it could be used to build a house with.

Alot of people I know who like good sub sandwiches don't like them toasted.

Quiznos.. Subway has a fucked up smell to it right when you walk in. Then, you smell like Subway the rest of the day.

meatball marinara, imo.

I used to be a huge Quiznos fan, but as of late I've preferred Subway. The new flatbreads are pretty tasty, especially toasted, and the BBQ chicken, with its Stubbs' BBQ sauce, is good.

Gotta agree with sisk on the damned smell, though. We call it the 'Subway funk.' If you're gonna bake your own bread then ventilate the freakin' ovens.

I like Quizno's fine, but since I prefer a cold sandwich most of the time I picked Subway :)

Subway has improved slightly over the last few years. Quiznos has remained stagnant

but here in the East coast, it's all about:

I can do either, but I usually go for Subway since they are literally on every street corner.

I've only bought one sub from Blimpies and I didn't even get to eat it. I put it in the fridge at work for my lunch, and when I came back to eat it, it was gone. Who the hell steals somebody's sandwich? :bang

I love Jason's. But I think they are a class up from Subway/Quizno's :)

If you go for chain, Togo's is my spot...

But there is soooo many smaller sub shops that just crominate here in the L.A. area...

And in Dallas. I usually go here when I want a sub. Their pickles are yummy. My only "beef" with them is who and the hell would pay $4 for a PB&J made with skippy and welch's?

Quizno's makes better sandwiches but they're too pricey.

5 dollar footlong oven roasted chicken breast, or tuna, or meatball marinara is better than Quizno's simply because the better quality of Quizno's isn't so much greater that it outweighs the quality of Subway. And thus, quantity of Subway makes it better than Quizno's

have you had a $5 large sandwich from Quiznos?

oh crap
07-27-2010, 04:19 PM
like other's, i prefer other shops (pot belly, jason's deli, thunderclouds to name a few) over both but of the two quiznos is definitely better. though i did take advantage of the meatball marinara @ subway recently with jalapenos, green pepper and ranch and it was pretty damn tasty

Zeto's on Callaghan is awesome. They have been open forever. Locally owned.

Also check out Which Which - http://www.whichwich.com/ I only know of the one way out on Potranco but I think there is one more in town.

Subway. Mainly because I worked at Quiznos one summer. I know that not all of their ingridients are fresh ;) But I have to agree with the subway smell.

Most grocery stores make better sub sandwiches than Subway.

I'll go with whatever Matt Bonner recommends....seems to be an area of expertise for the Red Rocket.

I agree about the smell of Subway, it's horrible..

There are too many great sandwich places here, but if I had to pick between these 2 in particular, I would definitely go with Quiznos, especially when they have certain sandwiches on a value price..when they had the Prime Rib for the same price as the value list for a while, I think I had one every day for a week or 2..

Subway puts cotton in their meatballs to make them look fuller, btw, at least in some of the Subways I've been to:lol..

So is Firehouse Subs like Boris posted. Both are better than Quiznos and Subway tbh.

I think there is only like 5 Quiznos left in the world
