I Know he's not a spur...sniff sniff but me and Zstomp saw Malik at circut city...Zstomp chatted with him about random crap. I :tu was awe struck. Then we saw him at best buy. Everyone that saw him was still treating him like a hometown hero. Thats whats great about S.A. Thats all I have to say about that! Don't you just hate it when you see a spur and you have absoloutly nothing cool to say??? The same thing happend when we say Sean Elliot at alamo aquatics...what a tool am i... :depressed

A friend of mine recently saw Malik, late at night, buying a vacuum cleaner at Wal-Mart.
What's that about? :lol

Really? That's cool I guess.
I saw Kenyon Martin with Melo shopping together for new fishing rods at Dick's...all I did was laugh!

That's cool! I was at Best Buy in November with a Brazilian supplier of mine and he spotted Tim Duncan. I was like "in San Antonio we kind of leave the athletes in peace". My supplier is an older gentleman from Brazil, a class act, and was like "no way, Duncan's probably a great guy. I'm going to say hello". He did, I cringed (because Tim can be rather dry in public at times), but Tim was actually very cool to him I think because he was older and from a foreign country. Cool experience! Btw, Tim was buying PS2 games. :lol

Apologize? i dont think so. Yeah Malik is a great person, but the trade was the right move! I loved Malik, but it was the right thing to do. Sorry if it sounds harsh, but buisness is buisness, and the Spurs needed to do what they did to get better!!!

I agree. Even though we all like Malik a lot, Nazr is a more valuable player to the Spurs at this moment.

I saw Tony Parker at Piatti. The whole restaurant knew he was there, but not one person disturbed him. They let him eat in peace. I thought that was cool.

Don't just pick one of his sucky nights.

Yeah, Nazr was really useful last game.
You obviously havent watched the ENTIRE playoffs! You cant use ONE game to judge someone. By that logic, Duncan sux cuz of game 1 of the Denver series.
OH! And Malik sux cuz he pulled his Jersey over his head during ONE game. Sorry buddy, I know you love Malik, but do you realize that SA wouldnt be this good w/out Nazr? He was huge for us after Timmy went down!!
The trade was worth it!!!

Malik must like Best Buy because me and my friend saw him at Best Buy last summer. We talked to him and stuff and got his autograph. Hes a cool guy but I wasn't sure if it was him or not cause he wasn't very tall at all.

The Spurs give up a proven playoff performer for a journeyman big who can't hit a jumper to save his life and a significant midseason disruption, as well as take away two 1st round picks from a front office that can turn those into gold for what, exactly?
I'm glad you dumbfucks were so concerned about saving Peter Holt et al a few bucks.

Nazr Mohammed has been great for this team.
Anyone sticking their head in the sand and not seeing the truth.
Nazr Mohammed is the replacement for David Robinson we were looking for in the summer of 03.
Anyone that disagrees with this, and says otherwise, has their heads in the sand.

I can only hope Nazr can come close to filling those shoes. He's doing a great job of working with what his skill set offers and doing what he does best - CLEANING UP THE JUNK. And don't underestimate how much a DO VALUE that b/c I do. I just wish he would have more flexibility in his game. But at the very least, he's finally giving us that. I wish he could be a better defender on team defense. He's killing us on pick and roll defense. And I wish he would challenge more shots. If he can add that to his game next year, I'll be happy with the trade b/c at least he's getting playing time. Malik wasn't.
But Nazr will always have a hard time executing a high-low post feed to Timmy if the guy can't hit a jumper past 7 feet or recieve a high-post feed from Timmy if he can't consistently post up his defender. He also will have a hard time setting picks b/c he A) can't he a jumper past 7 feet or B) jump out of the gym to flush it home off the screen. But you can't have everything. If he can come close to providing us what Rasho does on defense, we at the very least have a starting center and that will make the trade worth it.
