Let's have Bruce Bowen come in and coach Dejuan Blair on lateral movement of the feet on defense. THEN, have Dejuan post up on the offensive side on his much smaller (read:lighter) defender. Tim at PF, Tiago at C, Dejuan at SF.

We'll call it Beast Ball.

and it will be good.

Best idea ever. But it would be even better if we move Timmeh to SG.

that's 3 through 5 on my 2k10 lineup. 1 is tony/hill/temple(created) and 2 is ginobili/anderson(created)

Blair will guard SF if there is a mismatch....

I think Bonner could lose some weight too . He could be our new PG. The guy is tall, smart and would be a matchup nightmare for the others PGs in the NBA.

I actually will be shocked if Pop does not try this over the course of the year.

Hairston signing in Italy makes Gee a lock to stick. But I still don't think he's in the plans long term, unless he truly becomes a player with a defense first mindset. Obviously, he's got the physical tools necessary to be at least above average defensively, but ultimately, he's still an offensive minded player at heart. Unless that changes and he becomes someone who can fill the stopper role, I can't see him being in the long term plans. The backup wings on this team need to be either shooters, defenders, or both; he's neither.

My guess is either Bogans is re-signed or Hayes is signed to be the backup SF.

Pop is the man who played the Triple Towers of Duncan, Robinson, and Purdue...

If Pop can play SGs at PF, he can play a PF at SF.
