I thought he sucked. He'd have to be a horrible coach to part ways with a sure Hall of Fame lock like Malik Rose.

And BTW, the verdict is still out, I don't see any trophies being handed out tonight.

And we dont need a Guard with a four-year, $21 million contract that averages 7 pts/game.

Come on Aggie Hoopsfan, fucking own up and give Pop his due. I seem to recall you spamming the forum the other night about how the Spurs should get Phil Jackson.

I thought Pop made some great adjustments on the defensive end tonight.

Doing the no brainer with starting Ginobili.

The offense was moderately better, but Tim Duncan not having an headuphisass night, and the offense looks better.

All in all, hopefully the defense is carried over to thursday, itll need that much, plus more, plus more on the offensive end from Duncan Parker, and other guys like Horry and

fuck it, I think thats it, Barry, Robinson, Udrih, arent gonna do shit.

Don't tell me you think the Nazr trade was still bad!?!

Shit man, we wouldn't have made it out of the FIRST ROUND without Mohammed. Or do you think Malik could be a starting Center?!?

Maddog, dog,

me and Aggie were the first ones on the Nazr Mohammed bandwagon, and believe me he is a HUGE Mohammed fan like me.

He was being sarcastic.

It is completely beyond me how anyone can expect an aggie hoopsfan to know anything about basketball

Marcus/SF/whatever your login of the moment is,

My criticism of Pop has always been with an eye towards the big picture. Trends. Unless I missed something, we haven't won the title, not even the series, with our win tonight.

Best I can tell we: started Ginobil (something everyone here, much less, around the league was calling for), and he went crazy.

So I guess I can give Pop a little bit of credit for having enough common sense to give the ball to Manu and tell everyone else to get the fuck out of the way.

But anyway, people like you ALWAYS blame it on the players when we lose, so don't they deserve all the credit when the Spurs win?

That's what pisses me off about Pop lovers like yourself - you want it both ways.

Spurs lose, it wasn't Pop's fault, it was all on the players.
Spurs win, Pop's a genius, end of discussion.

If that's how you're gonna argue, I really don't have anything to add.

to be honest aggie, flip it around players all the credit pop none, and youve got you to be honest.

I hear where you are comin from though.

Actually, when the Spurs lose AHF attempts to pin the blame on Pop. When someone points out that it was not all due to Pop's coaching then he claims that they are not open to any criticism of Pop.

Same old boring predictable little blowhard AHF.

Not speaking for anyone else, but I think some people may not feel the need to blame a loss on either entity of the team. I blame the entire team for the game 4 performance. Most of the players played like shit, and that's on Pop, as well as his questionable lineups. But there is a difference between criticizing the team and calling for Pop's job so we can get Flip Saunders in here.
