haha Shaq says if Rome wins, he'll donate his salary to a Charity of Rome's choice.

Rome fired back and said:
@THE_REAL_SHAQ For 8 mill, maybe, but I'm not getting my face caved in for the veteran's minimum. :lol

On Rome's ESPN show today he ended up suggesting a FT contest. Since as Rome said he would have a good chance of beating Shaq.

From Jim Rome's web site

So Shaq O’Neal was none too pleased with my burn yesterday that Boston was making a mistake by signing him. And he was even more upset when I challenged his assertion that he had done more than was expected throughout his career. So the Big Fella took to Twitter to challenge me to a fight: “I challenge u to a boxing match, live at ESPN studios to show the world if you can back up the tuff talk.” He said if I win, he’ll donate his salary to the charity of my choice. Oh, and he threw the Jim Everett card too. Tell you what big man. This is a pretty intriguing proposition.

Of course, I’d like it better if you got the 8 mill you were looking for and didn’t have to settle for $1.4 mill. I’m not sure I want to get my face caved in for the veteran’s minimum. Plus, my fight calendar for the next year is pretty stacked; I’m already scheduled to fight the Klitschko brothers, at the same time in November. And to be fair… you are asking me to fight out of my weight class. I mean one thing to try to get me to move up a weight or two, but 20? Besides, are you really sure you want any of this; 160 pounds of twisted steel. And you probably should know; I am 3 weeks into p90x. I can bring it. Can you get through the first 10 minutes of Plyo-x without hitting the pause button? As for you going to the Everett card; you’re better than that; that’s so tired. So played. So 1994. That’d be like me saying, you have 220 pounds on me; level the playing field; give me something where I can beat you; you know like a free throw shooting contest. Look, you’re upset, I get it. You have every reason to be. And, just because you couldn’t win with LeBron, doesn’t mean you can’t beat LeBron. And if you do that, and then take out Kobe to tie him with a fifth ring, I will stand right here and take it all back. We’ll see how it goes. In the meantime, let’s leave the celebrity boxing to Tonya Harding, big fella.

Snack Attack is one sensitive little bitch..Is he 38 or 15? What Rome said was true, shaq has always been a lazy biznitch. I wonder how hes gonna respond when Doc benches his ass for playing no defense hahaha.

BUT Shaq didnt want to put in THAT kind of work ...

Im grateful but disapointed he never MAXED out his potential ...

you can avoid Jim Rome. I don't watch his show and forget he exists.

Hard to do that with Shaq if you're an NBA fan.

Hard to do that with Shaq if you're an NBA fan.

He has made himself fairly avoidable these last two seasons even for a hardcore NBA fan.
