This team has been my team from day 1.
This team also has what it takes to win ita ll. in my mind Spurs have future with James Anderson who will be the next superstar in this league. He has will and work ethic to be up there with Kobe someday.
Also.............I can see George Hill breakout year with 25 ppg and 10ast averaging a double double and with Timmy on the block, SPurs should be favorite to win title.

That's a really bold prediction on Anderson. I hope you're right, but I just don't see it.

I like the positivity. I guess we'll just see what happens.
I think a breakout year for Hill would be more in the neighborhood of 16/5.

Cosigned. I'd be overjoyed if he played to the Finley ceiling some have put on him, but don't have enough knowledge of his game to expect he will, and certainly not to think he'll be that kind of stud this coming season, (when we most need him to be).
And production like that from Hill would be awesome, but even less likely. It would certainly make TP trade discussions flourish. :lol

I think Hill will average somewhere around 17PPG while averaging 4 assists per game next year, he should be a much more efficient shooter this season.
Anderson won't be anywhere as good as Kobe but he'll be a pretty good player in the NBA. They ran the pick n roll at OSU a lot so he's used to that, he also used to be a spot up shooter his freshman season so I think he'll fit in very well with the Spurs.
The shots he took in college were extremely difficult, teams defended this guy very very very tough. Just checkout this shot against Kansas, he was doing it all game long, as you can see this is an example of what he can do. James Anderson busting a 3 with a hand in his face over Sherron Collins and Xavier Henry:

Whoa! That is damn good coverage and he still made it? I am liking this guy even more now.
If Anderson has the work ethic of Hill, nevermind Kobe, then we will be in great shape. Sounds like Blair has been doing a great job of keeping focused too.
When does the season start?????

I can't start new threads so I thought this would be a good general place to post.
Which of the Mavericks is most likely to be gay?
(players only. I'll concede Cuban would win if it was open to FO)

This team also has what it takes to win it all. in my mind Spurs have future with James Anderson who will be the next superstar in this league. He has will and work ethic to be up there with Kobe someday.
Up there "with" Kobe is not gonna happen since IF Anderson becomes a superstar, Kobe is already on the verge of retirement. If not, a good role player (due to the love for the game?).

I don't know about James Anderson being a superstar in this league, but from what I've heard of him it might be true. Who are the few people in the league that can hit shots with someone in their face regardless of who's guarding them or how well? Melo and Durant are the only two that come to mind and neither of those guys are good defensive players. I'm not saying that I think James Anderson has that kind of potential, but I think he shows similar traits to be a poor man's Durant. Much different release though. Maybe I'm way off though, I'm just going by what I've heard and the little video I've seen of him.
