I know CBF was scoffing this season like only a member of the mookie crew can but the last four episodes or so have been probably the best in True Blood's 2 1/2 seasons.

Anyone agree?

I think there has been too many faggots on the show lately

This past episode was the best one of the series so far IMO..

I really, really hate when I read people complaining about how the show isn't following the book as closely anymore(I never read the books, but apparently this is the case)..why the fuck would you want the show to completely follow what happens in the book?..why would you want to know what is going to happen?..

I don't know anything about the books but you might be right about the last episode. When Godrick killed the gay vamp dude that was pretty awesome.

The beginning was fucking boring, you gotta admit Manny but I'll readily admit the show stepped up with episode 4 and onwards. I'm back into it after being on the verge of quitting.

Never seen True Blood but i watched The Gates the other night. Are those two shows supposed to be comparable?

I've never heard of the Gates but I doubt it.

Last night's episode was probably the most graphic True Blood episode ever. And I'm talking about blood, gore, and sex. I'm curious to see how Eric is going to try to kill The King. The King is almost 3,000 years old. Eric is around 1,000 years old. Did anyone think that last scene with Bill and Sookie was borderline pornographic? I know they're actors but they're married in real life so I wouldn't be surprised if they were actually doing it in that scene or at least getting off on it.

Ya, that was definitely about to exceed softcore porn..

The hillbillies are definitely some kind of shifters, since Sam smelled them coming in, the same way he smelled his mom coming in the door(when she was the dog), but obviously not the same as Sam/Tommy or werewolves..should be interesting..

I'm interested to see Eric vs. The King as well..it looks like it will be Eric/Bill/Sookie vs. Russell, so I'm guessing Sookie's "powers" might come in to play here..

I like where they're going with it though, it has definitely picked up..I hope Franklin isn't dead too, he was a great character..

Yeah dude I scoffed it through the first three episodes this season.

All we saw was unecessary black girl scenes of her hating herself and trying to kill herself
and Sookie constantly like
"Where's Bill?" "Where's Bill?""Where's Bill?"
"Hey, where's Bill?" "I gotta find Bill?"

So fucking annoying

The first few episodes needed more Jason and more of Bill's foxxy ex. After episode 4 it's really picked up though, happy with this season now.

My guess is some kind of cat thing like the werewolves are a dog thing. Remember when Lafayette's mom said they were all coming to get her son - vampires, dogs & cats, or something like that? My guess is she's not really crazy, or there's at least some truth to her crazy. But I doubt they would have used that line unless it was foreshadowing something.

The Eric Northman revenge storyline is pretty great - I like the limited use of flashbacks in the series. Hopefully they don't take it to Highlander levels / frequency, but when used like they have so far it works really well to set up character motivation in an interesting way.

Oh I didn't know they were married. But yeah I was thinking to myself damn they've got to be actually fucking.

Aren't they just engaged?..not that it changes the point or anything..

Does the gayness need to be toned down a little in the show? There was quite a bit of gayness in the last episode? I get it that Lafayette is gay and likes dudes. Lafayette is an interesting character. Sometimes, his gayness comes and goes. When I say that, I mean sometimes it's like he is a flaming homo then sometimes he's a gangsta/pimp. However, the vampire gay stuff is a little weird. Some vampires are bisexual like the King and Queen but Bill is straight.

The show has really picked up. What kind of annoys me is that Sam can now "smell" other shifters (or whatever they are). Just because he shifts into a dog doesn't really mean that he has a great sense of smell. Either way, that's my only beef with the past few episodes. I think those hillbillies will be some kind of werepanthers. I heard something about them bring in werepanthers.

The chick Jason has a boner of over fugly.

I watched all three seasons this weekend.

The show is evil, by the way. Laughably bad at times, but more addictive than crack. The technique of making every single episode end with a new cliffhanger is devious.

I catch it when my gf is watching it. The girl that's bi needs to get her gap teeth fixed, though she is very hot.

Am I to understand that season 3 is disappointing, and I shouldn't buy it?

There needs to be a major thinning of the cast, but this show just refuses to kill off any main characters. Two episodes in to the new season, and we're already following at least six or seven "main" story lines.

They should have let that bitch die. I almost decided to start watching it... then they just turned her into a vampire.

Word, I don't want to see an entire season of Tara running around like a wild animal. Off that bitch and lets move on.

I hope tara becomes a vampire killer. I always thought the show needed a blade kind of character.

Well, last season begins tonight and then The Leftovers. HBO2 has been showing every episode all this week late at night. I think the show was run into the ground with too many characters, too many storylines, and fuckin' fairies. It's turned into more of a guilty pleasure than a quality show.
