Not sure why this isn't posted yet on a team-by-team basis, but browsing through the dates in on the master schedule, it looks like the 10-11 season starts like this:
10/27 v. IND
10/30 v. NO
11/1 @ LAC
11/3 @ PNX
11/6 v. HOU
11/8 @ CHA
11/10 v. LAC
11/13 v. PHI
11/14 @ OKC
11/17 v. CHI
Not bad. ~5 contenders, 5 non. Pretty evenly split between home and road. No B2Bs.
I don't want the Spurs getting another top-heavy or bottom-heavy schedule again like last year. A little balance would be nice.

Looks like the season starts off relatively easy. Toughest game is @OKC. Anyone buying a 9-1 start? 8-2??

I count 17 back-to-backs:
2 in November (PHIL/@OKC; @UTH/CLE)
2 in December (MIL/@DEN; DEN/@ORL)
3 in January (@NY/@BOS; @MIN/@MIL; NY/@NO)
3 in February (@LAL/@SAC; @DET/@TOR; @PHIL/@WAS)
4 in March (@MEM/@CLE; SAC/@HOU; @DAL/CHA; @MEM/PRT)
1 in March/April (BOS/@HOU)
2 in April (@ATL/SAC; @LAL/@PNX)
Might have to make a weekend trip to SA on March 4. Heat then Lakers...niiiice.

4 games in 5 nights. I think it's the only time in 2010-11 that they have to play a 4 in 5 nights (and the only 5 in 7, too).

Spurs schedule is very nice. I don't remember a schedule that well balanced.
17 b2b is also very few. It should help the old Spurs (Duncan, Ginobili and McDyess).

Every year, the Spurs play their Western Conference foes 4 times each, but there are 4 teams that they only play 3 times. This year, those 4 teams are:
LA Clippers (1 home, 2 away)
Sacramento (2 home, 1 away)
Oklahoma City (2 home, 1 away)
Utah (1 home, 2 away)

I agree. When I was first working through the master schedule, my fear had been that it would reveal itself eventually to be a very back-loaded schedule with lots of road games late in the season and lots of back-to-backs. I think the Spurs benefit some this year by falling out of the group of teams that plays frequently on Thursday nights (they're only in those Thursday games on 6 occasions this season).

That's not right.
The Spurs have 6 games on TNT's Thursdays:
@DEN (12/16)
@ORL (12/23)
@DAL (12/30)
@LAL (2/3)
@CHI (2/17)
v. BOS (3/31)
They also appear to have at least 2 ABC Sunday games:
v. LAL (3/6)
v. PNX (4/3)
That doesn't count ESPN games.

RRT ends at the ASG and is preceded by one home game and then an extra 3 road games. Tough stretch. But hopefully they'll use that time well, as they have often before.

Including NBA TV appearances, #spurs will be on national TV 22 times this season.
Early predictions, I'm thinking a 9-1 start is pretty realistic :flag:
10/27 v. IND - Win
10/30 v. NO - Win, kinda interesting they're the 2nd team we face since they were the first last year
11/1 @ LAC - Win
11/3 @ PNX - Win, revenge for the sweep although this is the first 2 game road trip
11/6 v. HOU - Win
11/8 @ CHA - Win
11/10 v. LAC - Win
11/13 v. PHI - Win
11/14 @ OKC - Loss
11/17 v. CHI - Win

Wow, it seems like the seasons are beginning earlier and earlier. I remember seeing the Spurs begin the start of David Robinson's era on November 4, 1989.
I'm not complaining mind you. Its been a long off-season already.

Nope. Sometimes there are 3 games Thursdays, 2 on TNT and another one local. Other times there are 2 games, 1 on TNT an the other local.

True. But the master schedule reveals that the Spurs' Thursday night games are on TNT and are not the side shows for that evening.

Those are some scrub teams, but thats gonna be a tough stretch..
Spurs are gonna have to rely on their youth around that time.

After those first two games there sure isn't much on the back end of the RRT that should scare us. A healthy Spurs team should be able to have a good run through that stretch.
