Maybe, I did post something that had been previously posted. Was it necessary to close my thread? Did you think that maybe not everyone is reading every post from the past 6 months. It is the off season, and many people are posting stuff that is really not that interesting.

Why do you let new members in if you want to go by post counts? Why can't we all just be Spurs fans?
I understand not wanting to have multiple threads, but what is your time limit? I went back about three pages, and did not see any similar threads to mine.

I am just a Spurs fan, and this is a forum, but it sounds like a group of elitist posters want all the glory. Some of you pass yourselves of as insiders, and we all know that no one here is. We are just Spurs fans.

You didn't find anything? I don't know about post titles but a good percentage of threads end up being about 3 topics:

We should trade Parker.
RJ's contract and expectations.
Bonner.

As for your post of Paul for Parker, is not happening for several reasons already discussed on those threads. My personal favorite: If Hornets want Parker, they would want him extended and not lose him at season's end. If he is extended is because he is staying with the Spurs. No way he signs just to be shipped out to the comparably lowly Hornets.

A few weeks ago I started a "Official chris paul trade proposal" thread and it was not locked even though there was already a thread for it on the front page. Look my thread up if you want to read a realistic proposal.

Possible Reasons for getting locked:

1. Your threads sucked and mine was decent.
2. My thread went unnoticed and your thread did not.

Definitely not the reason for getting locked:

1. Post count
2. Color of your name.

I'll bet if you looked through all of the threads that I have posted in, you will very likely not find one in which I state something to the effect of complaining about "multiple threads" so take this as advice, and not as some newbie smackdown.

First: Search function, use it. This is a pretty active forum and I have seen the date of last post on the bottom of the second page being "Today". So looking back three pages may have just covered the last 30 hours.

Second: there are actually a few (VERY VERY few, like 2 or 3) I would consider insiders, or at least seem to come out with accurate info regularly before it is posted on espn, et al.

Third: The quickest way to get those on this board who have a penchant to slam down a newbie to actually slam you down is to create THIS thread.

First of all, your thread wasn't closed because you are new. It was closed because it was just another BS Parker hating thread. No one was being elitist or referring to your post count.

"Hey guys since Parker is a frickin ball hog, let's trade him"

And Chris Paul wants to go to New York. Small market San Antonio isn't appealing to him.
