IMO it would have to be the ending to "He Got Game", starring Denzel Washington and Ray Allen. Great ending, great symphonic masterpiece played alongside to complement the moment (Aaron Coplan-Billy the Kid).

Greatest ever for 3 reasons.

1. A ten second car race that lasts like 2 minutes in the movie.
2. The absolutely ridiculous wheelie
3. "I owe you a ten second car"

But Rudy gets my vote, and Rocky 1 and 2 as well.

Rudy gets me every time, after all his struggle, that ending makes it all worth while. Best moment in film , as far as inspiration goes. The musical score, and the moment he runs onto the field chokes me up every time, no matter how many times I watch it. Moments like that in film are what inspire me to keep my dream alive and make movies.

And again, just as much the 1st 2 Rocky endings.

"Earn This. Earn it."

This doubles as the reason for telling the story, the flashback in Ryan's mind at the grave, and the question the audience should ask on the way out of the theatre. All of us benefitted and had our lives changed by the outcome of that war. Every American Soldier is willing to lay down their life so that you can live free.

What will you do with that gift? Are you a good man?

This movie set the standard for realistic depictions of war. Tom Hanks is simultaenously humble and sweet, jaded and cynical. He's not full of honor or a hot-head we see in most depictions of war on film. He manages to do this without becoming a cliche bad boy, a renegade.

I don't know if it's the best, but it is great.

Man, I can't find a clip of it anywhere, but I love the ending to Crocodile Dundee :lol

That was classic. Her running after him, then the messages back and forth through the stereotypical New Yorkers, then just like something Dundee would do, he walks across on the people to his woman. And the theme is awesome during that whole scene. Man that was classic, they just don't make movies like that anymore. That's how you end a movie. If anyone can find a clip on that, that would be awesome. :tu

I noticed a few Rocky mentions, but come on, Rocky 4, final fight bitches. Duke's motivational speeches could get me to run through a brick wall.

Also, the opening and final scenes of Trainspotting. The former basically had you asking what you were in for, and the end was a great one of redemption.

And while I'm mostly a rock guy, the music in the movie was amazing. I absolutely loved the music.
