Gary found more good players in Italy. He also found more opportunities and seized them in his next European stop. “I played a little point guard,” he says. “The offense ran through me on every possession.”

The spurs are stockpiling quite a few combo guards who can "play a little point guard". Hill, Temple, & now Neal too.

Appears Pop is prepping for the day Tony Parker leaves. That would leave the offense in the hands of these three for the most part (and Manu).
