Wow! That's an eye opening case they build. Pretty hard to argue with that stuff. Thanks for posting!

I'd say it's all been pretty obvious.

a full-blown military presence in American cities has been planned by the U.S. Army War College.

That line sent chills down my spine. I had no idea the military would have such contingency plans. It's shocking to say the least. Parker, my eye's are beginning to open. I'm not fully awake yet, mosty because I just took a vicodin, but I'm starting to wake up thanks to your efforts. Keep up the good work!

I also did not realize that the middle class family income was $250k....which I am not currently at just yet.....

I got so upset at reading that I'm a low class third worlder, I spilled my starbucks coffee on my laptop.

"4. Increasing political corruption:"

Rotten-to-the-core typical TX Repug DeLay got off essentially because the prosecutors (dubya's DoJ prosecutors) figured they couldn't really screw DeLay for what is just DC corruption business as usual. And they couldn't really build as case on testimony for convicted corrupter-in-chief Abramoff. That would be unfair. :lol

As in much of America, crime pays, and pays very well.

referring to #7?

7. Disappearing middle class: During the last presidential debate season, they argued that a family income of $250K was solidly middle-class. Well, Census data (http://www.census.gov/population/www/) shows less than 15% of families make over $100K, and only 1.5% of families make over $250K. The income gap between the rich and poor (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/07/08/income-gap-between-rich-a_n_639984.html) has increased at a staggering pace, while many more middle-class folks join the ranks of the poor every day. Cavernous income gaps may be what Third-World nations are best known for.

Time to start working to ensure that we come down on the side of the rich, not the poor. Get a move on, guys.

US median household income is a little over $50K. I'd say the middle class starts are well under $100K.

98% households below $250K.
