I have grown disenchanted with the league's new uniforms. Atlanta's color-change and uniforms are ugly, Chicago managed to make their uniforms shine, Charlotte has mildly improved, Dallas needs to go back to the classic, Denver's baby blue and gold is outdated, Houston's look positively awful, Indiana's latest update looks terrible (like the Hawks), Memphis is rivaling the 1990s Pistons teal as the worst ever, Miami's uniforms shine, Washington's redo has too much gold in it, New Orleans colors make me want to gag (Utah should give them back the purple), Orlando's letters look like it was written on a rock-face, New York did too much piping in the late 1990s and haven't corrected the problem with the updates, Philadelphia's "classic" look has flat, horrible colors, not matching the number to the name on the jersey, Sacramento looks like a popsicle, Toronto's colors (Red, Black, and White) are terrible and begging for an update. Minnesota, while I applaud going back to blue, made a mistake with how childish they look. Give me these babies:

1. Detroit Pistons--Classic, simple, updated.

2. Boston Celtics--Classic, simple.

3. Los Angeles Lakers--Classic, simple, updated. Stay away from the whites.

4. San Antonio Spurs--Classic, simple.

5. Golden State Warriors--Classic, simple, updated.

6. Oklahoma City Thunder--Lots of color, yet they make it look classic.

7. New Jersey Nets--Simple, interesting, classic.

8. Phoenix Suns--Probably the most current look I like. Stay away from the Orange. Yuck.

9. Portland Trailblazers

10. Los Angeles Clippers--Just a wonderful update. Take notes, NBA.

*One classic I would like to see back: Washington Wizards--Stick with tan-brown of the basketball, not Gold.

I like Clippers, the new/old jazz, Lakers, Knicks and Blazers. And Sonics.

I think NJ's are gross. Pistons are okay, but nothing special. And the Wizards suck. Bring back the Bullets and then we'll talk. The Thunder's are decent.

Y'know what jersey I always liked is the Cavs jersey they had before LeBron during the Darius Miles/Ricky Davis years. Black/white with orange and blue- :tu.

Apparently, every jersey is a classic.

re: simple, old to emphasize lineage of the team, not dated, not too flashy.

Of course, not being a teenager and not buying too much from NBAstore.com the NBA isn't too interested in my opinion.

It's not so much that every jersey is a classic, but in the mid to late 90's a lot of team's changed up just because their 60's/70's/80's shit felt stale. The problem is that all those 90's jerseys were all 90's out. Paintshop Pro run amok. It didn't take too long for most people to remember the value of simplicity, hence the throwback phase of the early 2000's and the more refined throwback phase of the late 2000's. I for one, welcome it.

I always liked the early 70s yellow Cavs jersey they wore in 08-09. For now my favorites are the road Jazz and road Grizz. I loved the old Lakers jerseys that Wilt and West wore, and to a slightly lesser extent the Magic-early Kobe years ones also, but I hate the WNBA cut they adopted in 99-00.

I don't like them in blue. In green, they were easily the best jersey in the league.

The Nets have to retire that logo. Every time I see it I think Saturn stapled to a Beverley Hills street sign.

It's a small sample, I know. But historically, this is the best logo.

Have you ever wondered why the New Jersey Nets...never has a net in their logo?

I've always been a fan of the "Sunday Whites" as well. Hope they stick around for a while.

I have to say George Karl was an amazing coach for being able to keep Gary Payton's huge ego in check and prevent Shawn Kemp from smoking his weed while leading them to a finals berth. Those are good jerseys.

I think Washington should get rid of the logo and just have washington on the front of their jerseys, and change that font to someting stronger. That Wizard logo is way too artsy. It looks like bad origami.

I kind of liked the original black Orlando jerseys.

The Atlanta Hawks jerseys of the early 90s were pretty cool.

The orange CAVS jersey with the V being a net with a ball going into it was always cool to me at least.

Spurs need a cooler jersey. It's not that hard to make something look good.

The Warriors City jerseys were cool when they brought them back a few years ago.

And if I didn't grow up hating the Bulls, I'd have been a big fan of their classic red jerseys.
