I'm gonna get roasted for saying this, but although I'm not a Bonner fan -we needed to re sign Bonner in order to have the versatility to have a "stretch 4" in the game if necessary...there were absolutely no other resonable other options out there in the FA market this year so I agree with the signing.

Hopefully Ryan Richards gets good quickly so we can try a new player as the stretch 4 somewhere down the line.

In fact, taking that further. I'm a firm believer that Dirk, while being a fantastic player, also causes the Mavs some problems when it comes to sacrificing a true big man.

Bonner is just like Dirk except he can't shoot, run the floor, or make basketball plays.

Yeah. I think the catch 22 is that we don't get to find out until it really matters...in the playoffs. So the worst case scenario is that he could could have a great season and start choking in the playoffs but then Pop keeps playing him to see if he can snap out of it.

My client(cantthinkofanything) has committed multiple spurstalk crimes. He has started ridiculous threads and has bumped old threads for no good reason. Kori Ellis in the past you have shown fairness in your duties as judge and juror of this site. I ask you to reconsider my client's case because were not revealed until now. He was delibertly commiting spurstalk crimes but he stopped when you cracked down on him. After that he proceded to start threads that you felt he was f'ing around. In all actuality he thought he was creating a new and beneficial thread for this forum. As his attorney, I recognize that he has committed a crime but should not be punish because we are pleading the insanity defense. He should not be held criminally liable for breaking the law because he was legally insane at the time of the commission of alleged crimes. Thus his privledges should be given back to him.
