I believe that Hairston's departure puts the roster at 14.

Spurs are over the cap already. Its the luxury tax they are avoiding.

We used part of the MLE to sign Neal.

Does anyone know exactly how much we can spend without having to pay the luxury tax?

If I remember correctly, it's nothing; even a minimum salary at this point would push the Spurs over. I could be wrong, though.

Nobody can confirm Bonner's contract numbers but as far as anyone knows the best guess is you are correct. Anybody else signed at this point even at min puts them over the luxury tax threshold.

Thanks...I think we'll go with what we have if that's the case.

Pretty much all the answers to salary related questions can be found in the following thread:

http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=158106

As a short answer to the original post, the Spurs do have some MLE and LLE money left to spend if they so choose, but are so close up against the luxury tax that they're not likely to sign any more guaranteed contracts during the offseason.

I wonder if the Spurs would try to pursue Xavier Henry even though they are tight financially; he and the Memphis organization have yet to sign due to abnormal contract incentives.
