Better enjoy it while you can. Just a few speckles on radar moving fast.

It was pouring on I10 near Crossroads just now. My car thermometer dropped over 20 degrees in the 2 minutes I was in the rain on the highway.

I forgot how much rain makes people forget how to drive. A guy crossed 2 lanes, exits, crosses a double white line to get all the way to the right on the access road at Callaghan, just to get back over to turn left. Then almost hits a school bus trying to catch a yellow light, then runs the red after the bus had made its turn. I just kept my distance.

In the 30 seconds at my office it was mud. I had to wash my windshield afterwards.

We must have been in the same area at the same time. It poured for a good 15 minutes and then it was like it never happened. I drove home to the De Zavala/10 area and it was like there was never a such thing as rain.

I was in my office and I heard something hitting my window and I first thought "Who's throwing pebbles at my window?" Then I turned and saw it was raindrops hitting it. That was more logical, but rain was the last thing on my mind lol.

Got 3/4" at the ranch south of town but it looks like it must have come with 70mph straight line winds. Lots of limbs, etc. down.

Shit, looked like freaking tornado going 281 S. towards Encino Park yesterday @ 5 ~ 7. Rained pretty good there too. Came home later & the wind knocked my neighbors flag pole over. That, or God was just pissed over the sad state of affairs America is in. :cry

The first time it rained, it was pouring near Crossroads Mall. I live on Medical and I-10. Looked like it never rained when I got home 5 minutes later.

The second time was a good rain that dropped the temp into the 80s I presume. I went to pick up my kids from my mom's and we all just sat under her carport which connects to her back porch and just enjoyed the breeze.

It's been so fucking hot lately that even high 80s feels like fall weather.

It is pretty damned horrible. We're doing the birthday party thing Saturday - predicted high of 94. That's almost a 10 degree drop from the last birthday party we attended.

It only sprinkled here at Ingram. Just enough to imprint the occasional, random polka-dot on the dust pattern on my car :lol

They were predicting high 80s this weekend but not it's up to low 90s. Either way, that must be a strong front moving through to drop the temps 10 degrees in the summer.

I was going to wash my car yesterday. The rain did a decent job of it though. I'll wash it this weekend instead.
