Dont mind it at all .... Bynum had a 21 point game damn near on one leg. I love how Boston folks cry about oh Perk wasn't there. Dude was there for six games practically at 100%. Bynum was there for 7, playing limited minutes in some game and on one leg - damn near 35%.

Crappy example. Bynum plays on one leg the second half of every season, if he's playing at all. That's like a Houston fan complaining that they would have won more had Yao not gotten injured during the season.

it's not an excuse on Docs part. he's trying get his team to belive in themselves for next year. they will be a year older, And with Miami now in the pcture, they'll have to do mentally prepare themselves any way they can. it's not a philosophy for every team (ie pop wouldn't do it) but Doc knows his team better than anyone and knows what he has to say. it's a tactic, I don't think he's butthurt, whis is what Many people seem to think.

I really don't know how you interpret his statements as being butthurt. He's simply stating the facts and he's giving his team confidence as well. Ron Artest is the one who's butthurt over Doc Rivers' factual statement, which struck a chord with him.

Um he was hurt every year and was never back at 100% after that year.

However, I do disagree with the "(X) = empty championship" statement.

It just sounds like butthurt to me. Just like all the lakers fans sounding butthurt about all the Spurs Championships starting with their Dear Leader (jackson).

i feel bad for the Big 4 (including Rondo). Doc pretty much saying they cant win without Perkins and the Big 4 are chumps.

Sheed gave them more than anything Perkins would have given them offensively. Dude was eleven and eight. If he comes off the bench, he doesn't put those numbers up.
